The structure of this song is insanely cool. Basically they stuck the bridge at the end of the song, made it twice as long as bridges normally are and, I think, borrowed a chord from another key. It gives it this intense effect. Fucking brilliant.
Genuinely hard to pick a favorite from the four cuts from this LP already on Bandcamp, but this is mine today. (And Montauk Magnifique 100% nails it - the melodies shift in such surprising ways, it feels like you're being carried along on a journey while you listen).
Funny, I thought having them beheaded at the end of their video for "Words That Stay" would've been appropriate, especially if they were having a good laugh over it.
