Excelente cantante, que grabó con la Callas una Lucia de Lammermoor y está espléndido. Voz muy bella y línea de canto exquisita, echo en falta más capacidad actoral, lo encuentro un tanto frío e inexpresivo.
Voce non grande ma di bellissima qualità con un "misto" incantevole simile a quello di Beniamino Gigli. Ferruccio Tagliavini era anche un grandissimo interprete e cantava sempre con stile e buon gusto. Cantante assolutamente straordinario nrl repertorio lirico-leggero

Er ist in Deutschland nicht so bekannt ,aber ich finde auch das er shr schön singt .von ihm ist auch auch ein Schlaflied das Klaus Richard rein gestellt hat .Ach das singt er sehr schön.Das er doof aussieht liegt doch an dem alten Film

Yes he does sound a bit like Gigli, maybe because he was copying Gigli as many did in the forties and fifties. Bjeorling's wife used to advice him to sing 'less Caruso,more Gigli'. To me he sounds like a cross between Gigli and Schipa. Whatever, he was a magnificent tenor.

The reason why you do not hear a high C is because it is not in the same key as the high C would be in. This is in the key of G, a half step lower than the key of Ab. So instead you hear a high B, not a C. He is singing it correctly.
