I gotta say, out of all the Mavericks I’ve seen in action so far, this guy’s shaping up to be my favorite! His patterns, design and animation are all just very sleek and it looks like an incredibly fun and challenging battle! Keep it up!!
Ah. You are still alive. I commend you for your work all these years. I was around 10 years younger when I first discovered your project. Crazy... I only wish you could profit from having worked on such a long project for a decade or so. As a fellow developer, I really do feel for you in terms of the struggle of working on your passion despite how little progress can be made day to day, week to week. It sure would be neat if Capcom would hire you and your team to make this game a reality sooner and allow you all to make a living from it.

@@PlayMOARZLEAGUE Just needs Fourth Armor. The first four were the best becsuse they were general improvements to X. Starting with x5, the armors were all overspecialized with significant drawbacks.

AStandsForFrench This game will not get C&D’d unless Capcom changes their stance on fan projects. Capcom has stated that, as long as a project is safe for work and doesn’t make money from sales, you can do whatever you want, basically.

I think this is my favorite battle from all of the ones you made, this is simply so incredible that my brain refuses to believe this is a fan game, it is so smooth and polished.
I was just rewatching this fight and I wondered for a moment why at 0:49 and 1:22 you opted to use the rails to avoid the shocks from the tail instead of sticking closer to the ground when I realized that Sparking Scorpion's body also does the same thing but without the tell that the tail segments have. That's really clever design since it forces you to use the rails to have a chance at avoiding all damage while not always punishing you if you touch the ground. The dodging you did at 1:25 by stalling with a cancelled vertical dash looks freaking dope and I'm glad you're designing bosses and levels from the start with these abilities in mind.
Fucking BLESS YOU for all of this. This may be the BEST megaman fan game EVER. Hell this might ever rival if not SURPASS the likes of megaman X 1, 2 and 3! I tried my hand in making a megaman fangame and never got past the basic game engine. So you have my respect for making all of this man.

Only the 3 first ones (from X1, X2 and X3) and the ultimate armor. But apparently, the armors from X2 and X3 will be bonuses. That's everything that I know
Means Final Four. It's a mode in which the last 4 bosses enter when they are the only 4 left to defeat. The become more aggressive and even gain more attacks. If you ad the S-rank difficulty to the mix, you get the maximum boss challenge experience in the game so far. Just watch, it's nuts.
@@regizero333 Not to mention that some levels get affected in various ways that make them harder to traverse! But that's not all...there's actually an even harder difficulty called Σ (Sigma) Class that doesn't have the Final Four effect...it has the _Eternal Eight!_ It's basically the same as Final Four, but the levels get even harder!

You made the final charge shot from X1 actually do decent damage to bosses. Good job on that!
looks like theres still a sweet spot like in X. you can just nail him twice with it.
It looks like it's doing 3 to me, same as it did to bosses that took 2 from the normal charge shot.
The reason it doesn't in X1 is because only the first hit registers(because s weren't programmed with it in mind.)

I like how the individual tail sprites have bones, allowing them to move separate from one another. It adds life to the sprite.

Means Final Four. It's a mode in which the last 4 bosses enter when they are the only 4 left to defeat. The become more aggressive and even gain more attacks. If you ad the S-rank difficulty to the mix, you get the maximum boss challenge experience in the game so far. Just watch, it's nuts.
@@regizero333 Not to mention that some levels get affected in various ways that make them harder to traverse! But that's not all...there's actually an even harder difficulty called Σ (Sigma) Class that doesn't have the Final Four effect...it has the _Eternal Eight!_ It's basically the same as Final Four, but the levels get even harder!
