Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 beading after 3.5 months July 23, 2012 vs, Finish Kare 1000p

Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 beading after 3.5 months. Applied on April 9, 2012. Washed with Optimum Car Wash. Finish Kare 1000p hi-temp sealant on driver's side fender is not beading at all after 3.5 months. Applied on April 9, 2012.

Very nice job on the video! Did you apply the OC 2.0 via the yellow foam applicator? Did you layer? How was the whole process?
Lastly, it has now almost been a year since you uploaded this video... Could you please do a follow-up video so that I can see how OC 2.0 is holding up and beading now? Thank you so much!

There is another product called 22ple VX1 Pro Signature Glass Coating that is suppose to be better than OC. I haven't had enough time to test the durability of the product yet and will be posting some videos of the application and what the beading and sheeting looks like. Thanks for commenting!

I honestly do not remember how I applied OC to the paint. I think I used a CarPro Suede Microfiber Applicator. I think I only put one layer of OC on the hood. I didn't think it was very hard to apply. I applied it in the shade and wiped it off with another microfiber towel to prevent high spots.
I have not uploaded another video because after the 6 month video the OC stopped beading completely. I have not really been that impressed with it. It is possible it is just user error though.
