  • When your on any hunting adventure, you want to have your essential gear readily accessible when you need it and in a comfortable configuration for the long term wear it in the field. On this last hunt, I wanted to have water, medical supplies, snacks, binoculars, rangefinder, a few extra rounds, and a multitool ready for action if needed. The trick to carrying what you want and where you want it, is finding the right kit to accommodate all of your needs. This is where High Speed Gear comes in.

Sweet. I really liked the rig and will be reconfiguring for some 9mm SBR play in a few days.

I use a Condor H harness and gen 2 battle belt with hydration bladder and pouches. Revolutionized my hunting experience. Forces you to only pack necessities instead of 38lbs of "what if" gear.

Yeah the gunt in me says that if there is extra room, it must be filled with something... just in case.

Hell yes man. I was 3/505 back in the day. Apparently 3 bat doesn't exist anymore.

Something like this but for dummies as opposed to the traditional dummy vest, would be great. Havent found that yet.

Modular systems are pretty sweet but if you know exactly what you carry every time it may be easier to just find a prebuilt rig. I'm always changing my mind and doing different stuff so modular wins for me.

Where can I buy it at. I wanna use it for hunting

Might wanna carry a tourniquet. A North American Rescue CAT would for perfectly in the bungee on the map pouch.

You also might consider a shoulder strap mounted pouch for rangefinder.

www.canadahuntgear.com has blaze orange MOLLE chest rigs. Quality is excellent - comes in "Original Hunter" or "Search & Rescue" configurations.

I use a knockoff Hailey Strategic chest rig for hunting and fishing. For hunting I can carry almost everything essential for short hunts - usually small game, dove, and even turkey. I like to travel light and be nimble. I do mostly run n gun type of hunting. I might take a small lightweight day pack to carry a stool, decoys, extra food and water, or camping gear if necessary. I cut my necessities down using MREs with a single titanium camp cup and calorie dense bars if I plan to camp at all. I find in warmer months I stay cooler using a chest rig vs a day pack - don’t know what it is, but I can’t stand my back being hot and soaked in sweat.

No binos? I would like it better if there was a dedicated bino pouch right where that top admin pouch is. But that is me. I don't hunt without binos.

4570levergun he has a range finder instead. It’s basically a magnified monocular that tells you the range of what you’re looking at. Good question .

I agree. Binos are a must.

The SWAT T tourniquet is wonederful for putting on someone else but should never be relied on as your primary tourniquet.
