i know Im asking randomly but does anybody know of a tool to log back into an instagram account? I somehow lost my account password. I love any assistance you can give me.
I create custom faux wedding flowers and this video was SO HELPFUL for the current wedding I'm on. Two little flower girls will each be carrying hoop wreaths like this and I've never done one before. Thank you for this tutorial!!
Yay! Wonderful to hear. I know the popular thing to do is quick videos but there is so much missed info. Glad it was helpful and please show us what you've created!!!
Lovely! I think I can manage a full wreath this way. Since we're stuck at home I've had to look at my apartment and recognize how piled up everything is so I've been cleaning out craft cupboards and found more than enough cute fake flowers to make a wreath for the door. I finally have time to do it but most tutorials use a form and all I have is a circular wire scavenged from a hat brim, craft wire and floral tape to bring the flowers together, unless I make a form from cardboard or 16-gauge wire. I'd rather just use what I already have, and now I can. By the time all those stems are wired together over the thin hat wire, it should be sturdy enough to hang from a hook.
Planning to make floral hoops for our wedding celebration later this year! Any advice on using dried flowers instead of fresh? I am planning on using dried lavender and dried eucalyptus. HELP! lol
Thank you for showing all the steps! Super helpful. How many days in advance do you think you can make this with real flowers? I'm thinking to use roses and or peonis? Any thoughts?
Hi Camila! I wouldn't do them more than 24 hours before the event. If you can do it the evening before the event and put it in the refrigerator (I usually bump up the temp a few degrees in the fridge) but it should be good to go! Full disclosure it may look a little wilted by the end of the day (on the day of the event)if you use for bridesmaids (just with the wear they can take) and will be fine if you use it as decor. You can also spritz them with Crowning Glory (found on Amazon) which will help keep them perky. Hope this helps! As for the roses or peonies... they are both beautiful but roses may last a bit longer out of water than the Peonies. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to mail me at hello@@t and I can help!
Glad you like it! So I personally think glue can get messy, especially since the ring/hoop is so thin and there's not much surface area. I'd wire the big pieces and glue the smaller, more detailed ones. But i'm sure you'll find what works for you! Let me know how it goes!
Bloom Culture Flowers Okayy thank you:) Yeah it’s my my daughter room and I’m trying to figure it out! Thanks for your help:) Where is the best place to buy fake flowers, like eucalyptus and the ones featured in this project:)?
@@emat8868 Your local craft store like a hobby lobby or Michael's is perfect (they also run offers and deals off of faux floral all the time!). Another place is Afloral, they are a bit more pricey but the quality is there 👍
If these branches are not artificial..how do you keep them looking fresh ? As I have tried to make a small ring and already they are floppy and not looking good ..even when wiring them on I have almost ruined them .
I make sure to use hardy flowers and I usually make the piece within 24 hours of it being used. If you make it the evening before you can always put it in the fridge to help decrease wilting.
Make within 24 hours of the event. Store in a fridge in a plastic container with a damp paper towel. Protect it from the fridge as it can still burn petals
I did a 12" hoop but you could do 10" or 12" I think for flower girls it could be cute to do something smaller like a 6 or 8" hoop! Let me know how it turns out!
You certainly can! You can wire the greenery and if you want you could even hot glue the faux flowers so they stay in place! Let us know how it turns out!
Hi Deirdre! The flowers will stay fresh for about 24 hours if you neep them in a refrigerator (ie. you do them the day/night before the wedding). I like to do them on the day of if it's not too busy or stressful. You can also use faux flowers if time is limited or use varieties that last longer out of water. OR (i promise I'm almost done) you can fill a jelly roll tray with water and place the hoop gently in it (don't submerge it) but that could help too. Hope this helps!
That’s 100% up to you. We typically use fresh flowers to help couples DIY their wedding flowers but you can do silk/faux. The faux never parish and you can use (a low temp) hot glue gun if needed. With fresh they only last about 24 hours and I suggest using cold floral glue.
Hi Melisha, There isn't just one place to get everything. I got the hoop from a craft website, you can google 12" brass hoop. They aren't too expensive. The supplies I got off of amazon or www.wholesaleflowersandsupplies.com/ and the Flowers I sourced for myself via our wholesalers. We well blooms by the bunch but have an order minimum of $375. You may be able to go to a local Whole Foods or Trader Joes (if you have them) as they have great cut flower selections.
Thank you! They are fresh and we source our product through a wholesaler and source flowers and greenery for people doing DIY weddings and events. If you are just wanting to do a hoop or two you may consider Trader Joes or WholeFoods as they have a great selection. Let me know if you need help! (this would work really well with artificial flowers too!)

I’d put them in the refrigerator with a damp paper towel over it. I wouldn’t make it more than 24 hours in advance.
Beautiful,is it necessary to use natural flowers?
You may also use faux or dried flowers too. same approach applies. Dried may be a bit brittle.
Should I use same technique with silk flowers?
