Okay, I just have to share this, because the craziest thing has happened to me today. I was playing Apollyon, got to Delirium. My setup was pretty meh, I picked up Curse of the Tower because of curse of the blind. I was getting my ass kicked. He gets me to three hearts, I'm clearly gonna die. But there are a few mushroom blocks in the arena. He hits me. Two hearts. Curse of the Tower. One bomb explodes in my face, second one blows up the blocks... And it's god damn Magic Mushroom. And then Delirium telefrags me. Edmund McMillen I will become back my money.

Same happened to me! I have the dance when there's a quality 4 item in the room mod and I just randomly started dancing while fighting delirium. Was super confused til I went around the room and a magic mushroom was in the bottom right corner. My build was okay-ish but that definitely helped lol.
@@hollowspade7472 Sometimes there will be a few blocks on the edges of the arena. Sometimes mushrooms, sometimes urns. They're non-intrusive, you normally don't even notice them.

ok matt so heres time to learn if you press a button that spawns enemies, they will spawn at every door this includes the secret room door even if you havent opened it yet, so if you press a button and an enemy spawns at a wall you have found your secret room, you do not need to guess
