Late to the party but just upgraded my 13 Pro Max to a 14 Pro and even before I had the phone in hand I ordered a Sheath and a Synthesis. Caudabe is still the GOAT of cases IMO! Hardest decision I have is which one I prefer more; most days it’s just which one I’m feeling. Right now though it’s Sheath all day. Love your videos and thanks for turning me onto Caudabe in the first place!
I received my Sheath for my 13 Pro Max yesterday and I freakin love it. The size and feel are amazing. Perfect minimalistic case. Going to be my daily driver for a long time.

I'm usually a Sheath fan but the weight of the Synthesis and the stippling on the sides for grip has me leaning towards it. BUT the magnet strength on the new Sheath has me leaning back! Using sheath with magsafe for my 12. And this is my best buy so far. Although it is equipped with magsafe, doesnt add bulk that much (magnet is strong af). IMO it is still considered slim (plus the case texture which has nice grip) I can tell because I previously using Spigen mag armor and it was kinda bulky and the lips were to thick for me. Bought sheath with magsafe because of your comprehensive review. Thanks man! Really appreciate your effort.
Caudabe's prices are excellent. Like you, I used the Sheath the most on my 13 Pro Max after watching your review. Great solid case with some good grip. Used that and the Limitless 4.0 when I need a bit more protection.
I got the sheath and synthesis for the 14 pro max. I like the synthesis weight, and thinner profile, but I think the sheath material feels better, especially when I rest the phone on my pinky for any amount of time. Will be looking out for the comparison and your thoughts.
Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that way about when it rests on the pinky. Something just feels off about it when I'm holding the phone way. It's a very nice case, those side grips are amazing but I'm not so sure about one handed use. I may get a Sheath just to see if I like it better.

I'm still rocking the Sheath in my iphone 13 pro max. I tried going back to using the Apple Leather case but I always go back to the Sheath. I dropped my phone a couple of times and it did protect my phone. The grip also feels good and that the texture is so good.
Thanks Tee for this recommendation! Just received my Sheath in Steel Blue today for my Deep Purple 14 PM and it exceeded my expectations! Love how minimal it is at the sides but still giving you enough protection. The steel blue matches the deep purple when under the sun. Love its texture and the magnet strength as well. Cherry on top is the price! Tried Mous (too heavy), Otterbox (weak magnets), Peak Design (sharp bottom corners), & Apple Leather Case (not enough grip and protection). Glad I came across this channel!
My ONE COMPLAINT about this case, which I just received today, is the lens protection. Thought with a focus on protection the lip around the camera bump would be higher. Don't feel comfortable leaving it face up on any surface that isn't 100% flat

I had a Sheath for my 13 pro max and now have it on my 14 pro max and it’s my favorite everyday case. I’m looking forward to the crimson color coming out and will be just as sharp as the current black case on my gold 14 pro max.
Getting the synthesis imported as it seems like an investment rather than a luxury, ordered the grey for a starlight, would love to see that colour combination featured on ur channel next video,as always bomb af a video.

Ugh I was too impatient and bought the Sheath before this review came out. Didn’t realize it would be heavier because Caudabe’s customer service people told me I should get the Sheath over the Synthesis if I were looking for less bulk/weight for the iPhone 14 pro. From the comments and your review it seems like they mixed it up. This is what they told me: “We'd give the nod to the Sheath in your case. Sheath is the best combination of great drop protection combined with a really slim form. Synthesis is great, too, but Sheath is slightly slimmer/sleeker than Synthesis.”

Great review! I just ordered the nomad rugged case and now I want this. I still prefer the look of the nomad case but man this magnet strength is unmatched. I also preordered the Rhinoshield clear for the magsafe strength based on your review on the iPhone 13 pro review but it won't come in any time soon and I desparately need a case.
Have you pre ordered the Rhino Shield solid suit MagSafe? It seems like they changed the material so it’s not so hard to get off and a bit more flexible. It was said it’s also a bit “grippier” as well

Just ordered the Sheath. I’ve been using the dbrand grip case for a few days now but I’m not impressed with it. It’s not comfortable to grip. Hoping this will be more comfortable to hold on to.
Just got my sheath and I’m enjoying this case quite a bit, I’m just a little worried about the lens protection on it. Is the lip enough? Should I avoid putting it on surfaces?

Finally got the Sheath in for my 14 Pro. Great fit and tight 'factory look', suits the design of the iPhone really well. In my opinion it's more comfortable to the hands and ear than the Mous Limitless 5.0 which has sharper edges front and back. Nice textured material, grippier than the Mous, but not in a way that it strips your inner pocket. Definately a keeper!
Man, now I have to choose between the Sheath and Synthesis and it’s so difficult! The only question I have is, can you use a lens protector on either of these Caudabe cases?
Can you compare it with the Otterbox Symmetry Plus the one with magsafe? Would love to see how it ranks and if I keep my Otterbox or return for the Caudabe.

Another little detail: I prefer the symmetrical cutout around the mute switch on Synthesis. The cutout is bigger on Sheath - some people might like it but I don't need it to be that wide open!
Caudabe cases are a great bang for your buck. Tee have you heard of Andar leather cases? Im really interested in purchasing the blue leather case because I love the color, but there aren’t many reviews on it.
Wish it came in more colors. At the very least in all the same colorways they have for the 13 Pro. If it came in “grey” or “navy” I’d pick it up in a heartbeat but none of the 14 Pro colors look that good to me (aside from black, but I don’t want a black case).

Just got my Crimson Sheath in for the 14 Pro Max. My lower volume button does not have the same tactile feel as the other two buttons. Is that normal??? It feels like it’s loose really weird. It looks fine though?!?!
As always: 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 I don’t have a 14 Pro but I suspect that the magnets are a bit better this time around because they added the directional magnet stem this year that other MagSafe cases (like Pitaka) had last year. Seriously wish they would revamp the case for the 13 series with the 14 design.
I received my Sheath in Crimson this week, and was not happy with the color, its more Fuschia or dark pink than crimson. The stock photo pictures make the crimson case look dark, and close to maroon. It's still a nice case, so I'm not goona send it back , but I think Caudabe should take down their stock photo and put up a picture of the actual case, so people wont be upset at what they get.

I picked this up for my 13 Pro Max. The MagSafe is insanely strong, I can pick up the phone by lifting the MagSafe wallet alone. However, this is a lot thicker than the Sheath I had used on my previous iPhone 8. I'm guessing if this didn't have magnets, it would've been as thin as it was back then.
Another great video! Now I can’t decide between the nomad rugged and this. Current have the letterbox xt but looking for sleeker protection that’s not as bulky in pocket
Micro fiber lining on the inside, air pockets in the corners, and leg stand on the corners of the back of the case to keep it from wobbling. If Caudabe fixes those 3 things this will be the best case in the world!
You definitely aren't the only one to say that! We're split 50/50 here at Caudabe HQ, too. Which is saying a lot because it's typically 95/5 in favor of Sheath.

I might still buy the synthesis as well but my one suggestion for you guys would be to add some flare to the case. Maybe some color combos .. nothing crazy..just something to make it pop a little and add some variety. I have black and it would look cool with like orange buttons and camera ring etc.. some sort of color
Hey Tee, does that nomad MagSafe base that you use work for a 14Pro? I’m afraid the size of the larger camera on 14Pro won’t sit flush against that base?
How does the improved magnets help with holding MagSafe accessories vertically? My biggest gripe about the 13 pro version is the MagSafe wallets and portable chargers slip off waaaaay too easy.
Man, this case is one of the best. Grippy, protects well, minimal design, not bulky or thick, pretty good magsafe magnet strength, doesnt leave finger print or grease. The only downside is the weight. Iphone14pro is 206g, Sheath is 44g. Plus if you are using protective glass protector.. the whole phone becomes over 250g. Buy this case and you wont regret if you are a man. Consider buying this case if you are a woman coz it will feel pretty heavy. Except for the weight, this case is the BEST.
Can’t beat the fact that this case doesn’t show ANY fingerprints. Love that texture.

I think the synthesis is for sure a little slimmer than the Sheath.

Dropped my iPhone 13 Pro in a parking lot from waist height with the Sheath on. Literally no knicks or cracks, protected my phone very well

Can’t compare magbak, those magnets are on a different level but the Synthesis magnets are still strong.

Yeah they had to really beef up the case to give it the rigidity and the magnets from what I gathered when speaking with them.

Micro fiber lining on the inside, air pockets in the corners, and leg stand on the corners of the back of the case to keep it from wobbling. If Caudabe fixes those 3 things this will be the best case in the world!
Honestly the price of these cases are soo good! Definitely better than most cases on the market!!
Both the sheath and synthesis are awesome but I think this year the synthesis wins just by a little bit
You definitely aren't the only one to say that! We're split 50/50 here at Caudabe HQ, too. Which is saying a lot because it's typically 95/5 in favor of Sheath.

@@getcaudabe I just received my sheath for the 14 pro max and I really like it so far. I might still buy the synthesis as well but my one suggestion for you guys would be to add some flare to the case. Maybe some color combos .. nothing crazy..just something to make it pop a little and add some variety. I have black and it would look cool with like orange buttons and camera ring etc.. some sort of color

Hey Tee, does that nomad MagSafe base that you use work for a 14Pro? I’m afraid the size of the larger camera on 14Pro won’t sit flush against that base?

How does the improved magnets help with holding MagSafe accessories vertically? My biggest gripe about the 13 pro version is the MagSafe wallets and portable chargers slip off waaaaay too easy.
It helps a lot because of the grip to the case and the stronger magnets on the case too

Man, this case is one of the best.
Grippy, protects well, minimal design, not bulky or thick, pretty good magsafe magnet strength, doesnt leave finger print or grease.
The only downside is the weight.
Iphone14pro is 206g, Sheath is 44g. Plus if you are using protective glass protector.. the whole phone becomes over 250g.
Buy this case and you wont regret if you are a man. Consider buying this case if you are a woman coz it will feel pretty heavy.
Except for the weight, this case is the BEST.

Caudabe and Rhinoshield are the best companies for cases out there.
They make some of the best. Rhinoshield for sure switched some things up this year and I’m interested on how people will take it.
