If you find a load of women’s clothes… maybe somebody got thrown out sounds like the woman. Or she left and they got rid of her clothes if their men’s clothes it’s probably the opposite. If they’re both people are cleaning out their closets or someone that has passed on.

I don’t dumpster dive but I do my part in buying mainly second hand for all things. And the thing about other countries for the most part? They don’t have waste at the level in which we do here in the US. Especially when it comes to clothing. Thank you for what you do even if it feels small, it’s making a difference!

There’s small hauls, medium hauls, no hauls, large hauls, and then there are Mega clothes hauls!!! Which means lots of time in the laundry room, lots of Bone’s play time, and lots of laundry and more laundry and more laundry...gee what did I forget, oh, that’s right more laundry!!! Haha so true! 😂 SO much laundry! Luckily we don't mind doing it and are really enjoying getting to see each piece washed and dried, looking it's best! Bones is certainly a big fan of the warm clothes and always trying to jump into the dryer when it's still warm haha! Our routine is always finding Bones before closing up the dryer and starting a new round lol

We live in Oregon, right on the Pacific, no view to speak of, that costs. But love it and our normal weather is not horrible. Been frosty in the morning but warms up. Glad the weather is ok, there. My husband grew up in southern California and it is so terrible there now. I love watching your diving expeditions, you find some great stuff and your vibes together are so sweet. I have three cats, love to see your kitty, we also have two very small dogs. I am always happy to find you on with a new video. Makes me smile.

A person who worked for laundry detergent told me u only need a capful of laundry detergent per wash. Not the cup cap, a tablespoon size cap worth. Detergent is apparently super concentrated. Everyone thinks they have to add so much soap when they don’t. So, spare ur laundry detergent, and wash in cold water. Hang the heavy stuff in the garage to dry.
Totally agree with you on our small part of saving the landfill. Here’s a concept to wrap your heads around, month ago while diving my roommate and myself found a dumpster literally running over the top of food. Frozen, dairy, etc, being in Michigan and cold at that time we scored and didn’t even put a dent in what we had to leave. This was Family Dollar. Insane was the word of night.

I never understand why they are not donated to a thrift store or to one of those donation sites you introduced us to (I haven't seen them in my area). I often visit my favorite thrift store to purchase closes as they are inexpensive and good quality.

Make sure you use a regular washing machine cleaner so your own clothes don't get a build up of bacteria on them. I used to live in a shared house here in the UK and i always use a laundry cleanser and still do it helps get rid of odours.
Great clothing haul guys! The dumpster looked like it could be its own clothing thrift store. That's awesome that you got to have sister time. I agree that Princess Bride is a good movie. Same. Last new clothing item I bought was shoes and underwear. About 10 years ago I bought a coat. Everything else from thrift stores.

Y’all should keep a spray bottle of alcohol in your truck to spray your gloves with after you get stuff from dumpsters!

Suggestion: Sort thru before you launder. Then you dont waste resources washing stuff thats not able to be donated or sellable.

Make sure you use a regular washing machine cleaner so your own clothes don't get a build up of bacteria on them. I used to live in a shared house here in the UK and i always use a laundry cleanser and still do it helps get rid of odours.
