Very good track analysis Dave. its just a pity the racing is so poor there. I would have backed runners there a lot more in the 90s/00s when the standard was a bit better, but seldom do now. Even so, i was looking at 3 CD winners tomorrow, uncle dick, adace, and the notebook horse chourmo, providing the odds don't collapse overnight. I generally bail out if a horse isn't its true price or better on the day.
It's a great day out at Brighton, can't believe they don't have 'proper' Derby trials there it's so much like Epsom, it's such a waste, instead of Lingfield and Chester. I don't like Uncle Dick tbh but Chourmo i do, i'd be happier if they tried it at a mile again on a straightforward galloping track but i'll probably have a go as it is a C&D winner but i think that run at Salisbury looked the perfect distance and track....be lucky
