+Molly Keough It was recently built with tunneling machines to extract opals wasn't it? After all the tunneling the owner decided to construct houses, bars, hotels and everything needed. I believe I saw it on the travel channel. He must have made lots of cash off those opals.
yeah i'm pretty sure it is something like that but it was out in the dessert and the familys couldn't survive in the heat so they extended on the holes and tunnels already made
+Grady Bledsoe Actually Coober Pedy started underground living just after WW1 in dugouts by ex soldiers who moved to the area for mining. The capabilities/capacities of the dugouts has improved in recent years.
The Seattle Underground tour was pretty fun, but short. It's about 1 street long. (There was more at one time, but they filled most of it in eventually.)
Seattle has an underground city with tours. It was the original city before a The Great Seattle Fire destroyed a lot of it in 1889. They actually buried the original city and rebuilt the current city of Seattle on top.
Not really a city but Coober peedy in Australia is pretty cool, it hits 45 degrees Celsius ther everyday so all the houses (called dugouts) are underground to keep out of the heat
There's the underground city in Seattle, it's a really funny story of how it happened. I went on a tour of the underground city over the summer with some friends and had a blast
We explored abandoned and unmarked mines as kids. Sewer and storm drain systems (which my brother and I explored when we still lived in Bell Gardens) are for city folk.
When I was a kid, I lived in North Carolina. The development I lived in was still being developed and many of the drainage pipes were uncovered. Me and my friends would crawl through them and come out miles away. It was awesome!
+Anthony Smith Obviously, it actually is a Dalek, and the fact that you now think it's not a dalek is just the daleks manipulating your mind! SNAP OUT OF IT!
I have no idea why, but I dreamt I was watching GMM and Link's hair was way too long, and all I could think to myself was "Link man, you really need a haircut".
I've been in the Derinkuyu. And it's got quite the atmosphere. The winding passages, window-ledge like wall holes, stairs you climb with both hands and feet (?) and the fact that you have to crouch to walk through things. After the whole thing, it took me a while to realise my spine is upward standing and that fresh air exists. Really an unforgettable experience.
Hanging out with Corpses Explain what that means to a non-native english speaker please xd Also, b4 math people, 5 years and just under two months is closer than saying 6 years until 2020.
(To people who posted comments on counting numerically...) congratulations. You showed me you know how to count. I don't care. Here have a cookie and stop spamming the comments sections... Please.
Chloe Herriage I tried to copy and paste one of those, and it made my browser lag like crazy. Maybe it's because I'm also trying to download 37 gigabytes of software while doing this.
haloreachlegend3 True, but it is known as the "Underground Seattle" so it is official. I guess, lol. Still a really cool place and it is UNDER the current city.
You guys rock! My friend, Jeepvideoguy (SHOUT OUT) showed me one of your shows a couple months ago and I can't stop watching! I love abandoned/underground cities because I'm a jeeper! Next month, we'll hopefully be exploring Centralia, PA in our jeeps! Keep doing what you're doing. Love you guys!
Rhett & Link, what are some of the most ridiculous recalled products or items? due to defect or something. (cars, food, clothing, childrens toys, furniture, etc.)
damn. I havent seen all GMM yet, i just found out about these guys last week. but since then ive watched about 100 videos of GMMorning and GMMore. this is possibly the best thing on TH-cam.
Houston, Texas has a pretty extensive underground tunnel system, full of restaurants, stores, salons, etc. You enter through office buildings downtown. It really is awesome.
There is one in Australia that is constantly being added to. The construction to build the underground houses are usually paid for with how much opal you can find in the process.
If ever you visit the UK, you may want to tour the underground hospital of Dover Castle. It was used during the Second World War to treat soldiers and airmen who had been injured. Most of it is still open.
+Garner Day idk, I can't remember. It was the original city but then it caught fire and a few blocks burned down so they just kind of built a new city on top of it.
Damn, I just can't browse the internet without being reminded that I still have to wait 10 hours for Assassin's Creed: Unity. (3 hours until the midnight release, much longer until it will install)
GMM you're one of my biggest insparations and the reasons i started youtube! I just hit 100 subscribers ! It may not be a big number but it's huge for me ! Thank you
My aunt and uncle stayed at Lukes Tatooine house in Tunisia and brought me back a piece of clay from the actual house. I was pretty pumped(and it was pretty dusty).
"over a thousand" In English it is "over 1 thousand" . Before the Big Bang there wasn't any light nor was there time. That isn't even creepy. I guess you are just dumb..
On the internet? Really? Actually it depends on the context of the sentence smart ass. And since when does 'one thousand years' even apply to creation, that's too small of a number and as you stated, time is non-existent before that (theoretically). I guess you're just eager to annoy. I was talking about the underground village that can host 20k denizen.
I think it's unfortunate that these two amazing guys have sort of started running out of ideas. Look at seasons 1-4... Purely original hilarious content. All whilst delivering interesting info. Don't let the fame go to your heads, don't do it for the pay check Rhett and Link!
I was thinking the same thing as you after watching the past five or ten. It seems like they're starting to struggle with finding new things to talk about. Would be nice to go back to their roots of earlier seasons.
I don't think that. If you look at the list of their videos, you'll see that there's a mix of several kinds of videos. There are lists, like this one, but also a lot of other stuff.
Chiselhurst caves! It was an air raid shelter in World War II and was also used by The Druids (For sacrifices) and by The Romans. :) They also filmed Dr. Who there once. :D
Albuquerque NM has miles and miles of underground concrete drainage tunnels. After you walk for a few minutes and turn a corner it is dark as dark can be. Rhett and Link met in a first grade detention and every detention they had together they drew pictures of 'Mythical Beasts' so they probably got that name as kids and it stuck I guess.
Do i really have to go through this all again, I spent about 15 mins explaining the fandom and stuff so if you want that look through the comments but the mythical part is because they met in first grade and were held back for writing profanity on their desks, they were the only two kept behind and they had to colour pictures of unicorns which is why mythical is everywhere.
lol joshin, I was more confused about the 'mythical' part than the morning part. Although now that you mention it - How can ANY channel on TH-cam be a 'morning' show? It's not like it's broadcast TV. People watch it any time of day.
i live in Canada and i'v been through Moose Jaw many times with my family (we live in British Columbia and have family in Ontario and we always drive) but we have never stopped in Moose Jaw. I'v always wanted to see the tunnels
Montréal! There are actually more shops and boutique underground then outside. It's one of the biggest underground city in the world. We can navigate underground under most of the city to protect from the cold and elements.
As somebody who has been through the Tunnels of Moose Jaw I can assure you there are no robots, you also forgot to mention the part about Al Capone being the person in charge during prohibition. You also have to remember, this is an educational tour that they try to capture the experience of the prohibition era. Also most of the actors are students.
BTW...the Moose Jaw tunnels which I have been to... were used for bootlegging as you said; however, Al Capone used these and actually had an office there!
I use links hair to know where I'm at in the series
This was before he started using pomade...
How
Nowadays, I use Rhett's.
profile picture not found I use Rhetts and Links, Links for past episodes and Rhetts for the quarantine era
Yea everything before season 9 is hair down and everything after is hair up
Im aussie and there is a town here called Coober Pedy that is underground and people still live there and everything

The Seattle Underground tour was pretty fun, but short. It's about 1 street long. (There was more at one time, but they filled most of it in eventually.)
Yup, grew up in Seattle, toured the underground with my dad as a kid
Ok finding an entrance to an underground city in your house is the coolest thing ever
Actually it's kind of creepy.
Best game of hide and seek of all time
Its scary since that person will be setting foot in that dark desolate network of tunnels in centuries.. there would definitely be a ton of bugs
Cool, but absolutely terrifying
Sky King exactly
Seattle has an underground city with tours. It was the original city before a The Great Seattle Fire destroyed a lot of it in 1889. They actually buried the original city and rebuilt the current city of Seattle on top.

Cooba Pedy in Australia should've gotten a special mention. It isn't an underground city but it is a town with many underground places.

I was actually hoping to see you guys talk about the underground city of Seattle Wa.
I do not, but I did many years ago. I have many family members that still live there and I visit once a year. Love the state.
i thought fir sure they were going too as well!
Haven't been to Moose Jaw, but The Seattle Underground Tour is way cool and the guides are hilarious. Much better than what Moose Jaw appears to be.
Not really underground, just under a lot of asphalt/concrete.
haloreachlegend3 True, but it is known as the "Underground Seattle" so it is official. I guess, lol. Still a really cool place and it is UNDER the current city.

If ever you visit the UK, you may want to tour the underground hospital of Dover Castle. It was used during the Second World War to treat soldiers and airmen who had been injured. Most of it is still open.
When Link was describing that hotel at first, I was already thinking, "hmmm... Sounds like in Star Wars."
There's a city underground Seattle. I was hoping they would talk about that one but they didn't
how big?
+Garner Day idk, I can't remember. It was the original city but then it caught fire and a few blocks burned down so they just kind of built a new city on top of it.

Coober Pedy in Australia is one they should have had on the list. It's the opal capital of the world.
Sign me up!!!
Coming in this a couple years late but Coober Pedy in Australia is mostly underground residences (dugouts) because of the extreme daytime heat.
The titles are so Buzzfeed.
No love for Seattle's underground city?
Umm
*****
While that part of Seattle was build on a soggy tide flat area, the rebuilding was ultimately due to the Great Seattle fire in 1889.
I've never seen a underground city before! :D
I agree seattles underground city is pretty cool
Matmata in Tunisia is amazing, i have met the Canadian ambassador to Tunisia while she was discovering the region, such a nice lady.

The Donut speech at the end of the video was the best part of the video.
you should visit Finland. its not underground but its dark as F**K in here..
