So my thing about hulling sunflower seeds is that you usually buy flavored hulls, (like BBQ flavor), so using that pig would defeat the purpose of enjoying the flavoring.
Here's a tip for your road trip. You can actually buy deshelled sunflower seeds. Downside you would never know what flower they came from.

Can’t believe I been watching GMM with you guys for 6 years now. I remember being pregnant, couldn’t sleep and I watched this show every single night. My favorite episode is where they guess what year that food was made, and they slide it to the year they thought, it was pretty cool. I learn so much stuff from this channel and it’s by far my favorite!

It's possible...there are lavender farms that you can buy entry to and have picnics, take pictures, access unique for sale items like a little market, etc. I was in one for the first time about a month ago, but it was on private property at a farm and we were there for an event
