"any mess/problem can be fixed", "being sick is not shameful", "it's okay to ask for help" You are truly amazing for breaking down the barriers and stigma of mental and physical/chronic illness. Sometimes just those words are enough to help someone who is struggling.
So true. You’re comment has me in tears because I’m fighting so hard right now. Life can beat us up sometimes but reaching out is the best move when you’re struggling
I‘ve suffered from mental and physical chronic illnesses for more than 20 years and it‘s fucking hard to have any energy left after a full work day.. I‘m struggling to keep my place clean to my own high standard.. I‘d love to get this much support and understanding from my family.
@@grarglejobber7941 Doesn't mean that every stigma is true and people deserve to be judged on it. Struggling with mental or physical illness does not make you a bad person, and you don't deserve to live in dirt just because you do not have the strength to clean.
@@Aurikatariina Thank you so much for not only sharing tips on how to clean (and how to enjoy it) but more importantly on mental health issues by talking about them without any shaming to those how suffers from them. Love your work, keep doing what you do. Sending you appreciation from Sweden.
Sounds like Mark is working hard to turn his life around! Atta boy! And, as always, Aurikatariina, beautiful job. As someone who has had mental health challenges, I sincerely appreciate the compassion and understanding that you show these folks. You are a gem!
A cleaner, a teacher, a therapist, a philosopher and an angel - I feel such gratitude for your channel, Aurikatariina! Thank you - your help to many viewers, including me, is immeasurable!!
"When you're sick, you just don't care." Perfect description. Absolutely perfect. Auri, you are doing a wonderful job bringing happiness and awareness to your viewers!
I lost my 18 year old daughter in 2016, it was hard to do the cleaning, I did it "on top" as I was too exhausted to "deep clean". Since I'm watching your videos, I started cleaning again, little by little. But, I'll get there. Thank you for your videos, they motivate me so much.
Bless u eve ,I know what u mean sweet ,I lost my daughter 8 weeks ago ,she was found dead ,unexpectedly ,there still investigating, so they gave us a temporary death cert last week so we could bury her at last ,one day I'm ok ish ,get stuff done ,another day ,nothing ,one min I'm smiling ,getting through best I can another I'm in bits crying ,I do find it easier keeping busy but when all is on your mind is her no longer here ,it hard ,so sorry for ur loss ,
@Janet Sandman, I'm really sorry you have to go through this🥺😰 My heart hurts for and with you. Hang in there though I know it's not easy. I'm here, anytime💕
Thank you so much for speaking with such gentle compassion about people's struggles with mental health and substance use problems. Your kindness and acceptance is a wonderful example to the whole world.
honestly i like that your supply list is minimal but affective. it shows that anyone can keep a clean home without the use of fancy products. scrub daddy products have changed my cleaning game SO MUCH, and oven cleaner saved the walls around my stove. i've learned so much from your channel.
I, for my part, wouldn't want to see you trying different products. What I want to see, is you. You, cleaning messy apartments. Because you are such an inspiration. Watching you cleaning, hearing your comments, always lifts my depressed spirits. I guess, the products you use, work best for you. Since you're a professional cleaner, I take these as valuable recommendations.
I actually like the fact that she uses minimal detergents (dish soap, power paste & oven cleaner)- more eco friendly and cheaper than buying a product for every different type of stain when it really isn’t necessary.
I agree I love that she can clean these very dirty places with just a handful of products and tools. I work in a hospital as a nurse, and the housekeepers tell me that they use industrial strength products to clean, but that they only have about three different ones that they use. Dish soap for surfaces, Virox(which is a peroxide solution), and bleach to kill things like C. difficile.
I noticed the initial trash bags, it seems Mark was really trying but was overwhelmed. Hey Mark, if you're reading this, know that it all will be alright, we're proud of you to reach for help ❤️
It was nice to see. I think he tried. But like so many who are not used to clean or have clutter, it becomes so overwhelming. The thing I most love in Auri is that she just comes and start pick up trash. I realized that that's the attitude that works, you have to start somewhere. It really helps when you see someone doing that.
Yes! Also, when cleaning his bathroom cabinet, I think I got a very good idea of who he is. He does care about himself. He had very FEW but specific grooming products. He had like a face cleanser, activator and just a few things that made me think he takes care of himself. Also, despite being messy, he didn’t have a lot of stuff. I can genuinely believe he just couldn’t keep up.
@@ingridmedina9913 Many of these people don't have stuff. It makes me think that they are young and coming from low income families. I mean rent homes are really "nice" , but in cold country like this all buildings have certain standards, but the lack of furniture and stuff tells that they don't have much money to use. Or cars so they can pick up used stuff, or parents or friends that could help. Thank goodness he got Auri to help.
Mark, if you're reading this, we are so so sorry that you faced these challenges, and we are so so proud of your strength and to ask for help. I'm a 24 year old woman from India, and I totally understand how everyone expects people in their early twenties to have perfect lives, but the early twenties are a time to build our future. Nothing is stable and there is a lot of uncertainty. The only thing we can and should do, is believe in our own selves and believe in our higher power (God, Universe, our ancestors guiding us from heaven, etc). Take care Mark, you have a very bright future ahead of you. Take it one day at a time, one step at a time. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Lots of love.
you are so correct about depression not always looking like a messy home, some of us have a frighteningly, almost sterile home, and we practice minimalism not for spirituality but as a sign of having as little possessions for our families to sort thru after... if we ever decide to... you know, not proceed with living. so thank you for addressing that. depression is a really complex, multifaceted and terrifying condition.
You have helped me so much! I have been struggling with mental health for years, and it's hard to keep my house clean. (They don't pile up as bad as the ones that you clean) But it's been a huge struggle for me! I hated cleaning and would avoid it at all cost. I would never ask for help. It's extremely hard to ask. My husband would come home and do some cleaning, which made me feel even worse. I lived in fear that he would ask me what I did all day. I was also scared that someone would stop by, or the homeowner would need to come in. Its a very scary, dark and guilty feeling. I randomly came across your video last week, and after watching just one, I was so excited to clean! I instantly ordered all the cleaning stuff you use off Amazon. I'm still waiting for a few things to get here and it has been the loooooongest wait ever. Now, I'm looking for stuff in my house to clean! I offered to help deep clean my mom and my mother in laws homes! It's been amazing! Also, I want to thank you for spreading awareness about mental health. We can see owies on the outside of people and know they are hurting. With mental health, the owies are on the inside, and no one sees them... Oh and please don't ever stop saying "trashes!" It makes me smile when I'm picking up all the trashes!
Hi Aurikatarlina! I look forward to watching your videos every week. Not only do you give us great cleaning tips, but most importantly, you inspire us to be better human beings by helping others in need. Thank you for being YOU! 🤗
@@Aurikatariina you motivated me to clean my room, and I got some done today. Still have more to go, but I've done more today than I've done in a long time 😊 Kiitos paljon Aurikatariina ❤️
I like that you only use 3-4 products, and they work. Growing up, my mom had (and still has) at least two shelves of different things to keep the house clean, and if I tried to clean something up, I would get told I used the wrong thing. It's much more encouraging to see that if I have dish soap, and a decent degreaser, and maybe a bathroom cleaner, I can tackle at least 90% of all stains.
I cleaned my son's college apartment using all of the cleaning products and following your techniques, that you use. In three hours the whole place was squeaky clean. My son vacuumed the painted concrete floor, and he was astonished how much dirt and dust I still collected after with squeegee. He was even asked if he hired professional cleaning service...lol. I took it as a compliment and I happily give credit to you.
i struggle with clinical depression. when i was living in my apartment in savannah ga, i lived alone after having to kick out an abusive roommate and previously very good friend. i used to be on top of cleaning but my fatigue and mental health and classes got to be overwhelming and over time i just started ordering food every meal, and the packaging and grime and dirt just got to be so much.....i completely understand and relate. my parents were disgusted when they saw how my house looked with its moldy dishes in the sink, dirty toilets and bedroom, food packaging and trash and clothes piled on the floor, but your depression will give you every reason to think you deserve to live in filth and that it can't be fixed. the way you talk about this house brings me to tears, you're so kind and forgiving and compassionate about mark's situation. its really inspiring and meaningful for me. thank you for being kind.
Auri the Cleaning ANGEL strikes again! What an incredible woman you are! I’ve been in the depths of depression, where getting up to brush my teeth seemed next to impossible. Unless you’ve been there, you just can’t understand how crippling it is. I hope you never are. This made me emotional. I feel both sad and happy. Mark, keep going! I know it is hard, but you’ve come so far.
Auri, as someone who has been repairing themselves after a DV/A relationship, it has been hard for me to maintain my house. Your videos have helped me, in more ways then I can list ❤️ It shows that we are not alone, everyone has their struggles. We need more Aurikatarina’s, a lovely soul who is here making positive impacts on lives
i am sorry to hear you are a DV victim. i wish you all the best and all the time you need to heal. Please remember, its ok if you struggle to maintain your house. i suffer from depression and sometimes its hard for me to get out of bed and get dressed. I try to clean everyday for at least 15 minutes. 15minutes arent much and still you can get lots of stuff done in this short time.
"Would you want me to try different kind of products?" No! Unless you feel you need or want to. Part of what makes your videos so great, and inspiring, is the fact you use a few very simple products. Cleaning is something I struggle with, but it feels so much easier when I can do 99% of it with just dish soap and a Scrub Daddy. While I do use a couple of other products for different things, its so satisfying and so much less overwhelming when I dont need to use a billion different products. And seeing how they can clean even the dirtiest of messes in your videos is a huge motivator and inspiration.
Exactly. When you go to a store and ask for advice they hand you a million different bottles. Never knew just using dishsoap is enough in a lot of cases.
wow this. I see other channels where they use a plethora of super specific and professional products and tools, and I always though of course you are a cleaning master with all those tools! but seeing the results you can get with every day cleaning products is amazing! who would have thought you could clean a really messy space with just dish soap and oven cleaner!
I hope some big sponsors see you and join in. Imagine if a place like ikea could bring sofas and beds for all the people you help! Great press for them and great for those you help. I'm sure one day that will happen!
Mark, if you're reading this, I want you to know that you are not alone; we have kind of similar stories and I'm so amazed how strong you are asking for help and changing your life! It's not easy, but you can do it! I also agree with other commenters; I don't want to see other products, since these simple, affordable products are the best way to show that you can clean with one or two products. :) I'm struggling with mental health and these videos inspire me to clean even a little, since I see that dish soap can do so much and I do have that right now in my home and I don't have to purchase anything else. Also loved the simple tip you gave about choosing the cleaning product according how the stain feels, it was super helpful!
I'm so proud of Mark!!! Personally, I don't want to see more products; I feel like companies are always trying to sell us a million products that we don't need. I love how you keep it simple and show that cleaning doesn't have to be difficult OR expensive!
@@laurawoolfson8230 I dont agree. I love the products. It is important to stay informed of what products they are using especially since folks like me may not know bout them being available in the market or even how to use them. This is the best product cleaning video...it s not a commercial it's teaching you how to clean and what to use!! That is the difference!!!
@@Divinefemininemiracles I agree - couldn’t believe how easy it was to clean my shower with dish soap. I’ll never buy expensive bathroom cleaners again. It looks like new.
I actually really appreciate that you use minimal different products, and dish soap for most things. Dish soap is available in all parts of the world, and it's very affordable.
Since watching these videos, I have gotten so much better at cleaning and enjoy it more. My house is the cleanest its been since I bought it, my appliances look like new! My daughter hears these videos and comes running over to watch, and loves to help me clean. Thank you :)
Thank you so much for what you do! This is truly awesome and amazing, what you do is life changing, and your videos with so much positivity are themselves life changing, inspirational, and supportive. Lots of love to you! You are a true gem ❤️ ❤️
There used to be a few programs on TV about dirty houses and hoarders (How Clean is Your House?, A Life of Grime, etc.). The big problem is that the producers frequently framed such homes and tenants as lazy, neglectful, clueless, or just eccentric. Sure, they sometimes offered cleaning tips, but mental health or traumatic circumstances were hardly mentioned. Your videos, in contrast, are wonderfully non-judgmental and show the true people and the struggles they face. You don't just give useful advice; you show that the only humane way to frame the problem is with honesty and compassion. You don't turn the tenants into media freaks for shock value or views, and your sweetness, enthusiasm, and practicality are a breath of fresh - probably lemon- or cotton-fresh-scented - air!
The best TV show about cleaning is obsessive compulsive cleaners, people who clean all the time go to help people who can't or don't, they end up helping each other become less extreme with their cleaning/mess making.
the american show was the worst. "hoarders". not sure how much it was a sign of mental health issues in america, or the way the show handled it, but once someone internalizes an identity like "i'm a hoarder" then it becomes very hard for them to get over because not only is there whatever underlying issue that lead to them getting to that point, they've at that point decided that its "who they are". they just are a "hoarder". and that comes with issues like them not feeling they need to change, feeling like their identity is being attacked by the people trying to get them to throw things away, and then they push back against people trying to help. to then come into that with that same mentality from the people helping that "this person is a hoarder", theyre just playing into those same issues and then they try to help in a way that makes the person defensive. comparatively the uk show, how clean is your home, with kim and agie, the tone was more "Oh you silly sausage, look what a mess this is, lets help get this cleaned up for you" any sort of framing it as them being "lazy" was playful banter. Treating the show like a mental health counseling session and bringing up "Being a hoarder". wont help. it just makes the cleaning up process into a confrontation. like trying to hold a intervention for an addict, they will naturally become defensive when being expected to confront their issues, and then all the defensive strategies come up, lying, downplaying, avoidance, deflection, manipulation, .... etc. there's so many things that can happen. but when its just "were here to help you clean your house so you can be more comfortable". you arent likely to get any of that. they can deal with that where they should, with an actual trained professional.
@@ge2719 Most of the British ones were/are in no way actual hoarders. They're just people with a mess for different reasons, like life issues, space issues, long term physical health problems and some depressives. They generally don't want to hang onto their pointless clutter and are happy to let it be sold, thrown away, etc and extra happy to have their place returned to normal. The US ones to me (that I have seen) seem mostly severely mentally ill and often beyond any kind of help because they are most often real hoarders who live with a delusional attachments to utter rubbish and often with endless apparent co-morbidities, personality disorders seem apparent in many. Bags and jars of their own urine, filth, rotting garbage, corpses of dead pets who died in their mess (and they don't seem to care), huge cockroach infestations, mouse infestations are normalized (and this is a sign someone has really gone of the edge), and they generally fight the 'helpers' every step of the way and many come off as nasty, awful people who treat their own families and kids like trash while loving and valuing actual trash instead. Auri's people seem to mostly have long term depression or mobility issues and truly just want the apartments cleaned and sorted, no hanging around refusing to let stuff be thrown away, like a real hoarder. Actual hoarding disorder people have a horrific attachment to their mess and are resistant as hell to its removal or anyone disturbing it, even when they are living in total and utter squalor.
I was just thinking about 'How Clean Is Your House', which I'd watch with my family when I was younger. The way they spoke to the people on the programme made me feel so uncomfortable. So judgmental and straight to the "No, no I don't want to hear any excuses - you're just a lazy pig" attitude...
I do appreciate you explaining through your videos about how people can fall into this depression and end up in a messy home because of it. I used to never understand how people could live like this until it happened to me. I thankfully am now in a more happier and cleaner spot in my life after getting rid of some stuff I hoarded. Your videos are a good inspiration for me for whenever I don't feel like cleaning, they help get my butt back into gear. I even bought myself a scrub daddy and scrub mommy sponges when I saw them in walmart. Thank you for all the work you do for these people and for those of us finding inspiration through your videos.
This was your best video yet! All the voice overs and shots were great. I hope Mark keeps getting better. A suggestion for a video; teach about the dangers of mixing chemicals. I see so many TikTok’s and videos of people mixing 4 or 5 products and it’s so dangerous! Love love love to you auri!
I love how you use so simple cleaning products. I love how you use dish soap for almost everything and then use a couple other choices when dish soap won't work. My husband wants to use a specific cleaner for every different thing, and the harsh chemical smell bothers me, as well as the space lost due to so many different kinds of cleaner bottles. I would love for you to continue showing us how easy it is to clean with just a few simple products, especially when the products are very mild like dish soap or vinegar. I love how you explain why you are choosing the products that you choose. Your videos are so inspiring. Thank you for being an awesome human being.
After losing my grandma 7 years I was so depressed and my health started to sufer, my flat ended up like this 1 maybe even worse? After watching a few of your videos I've finally started to pull myself out of it and started cleaning, now it's turned into an complete renovation of the entire flat. Repairs, decorating and new furniture. Just want to say thanks for the videos they make me feel like I'm not the only 1. Much love ❤️
I just wanted to say, well done. Losing someone you love is the most painful thing any of us can go through. I am so happy that you can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. Best wishes for the future.
My favourite part of your videos is how uplifting you are to those you're cleaning for, and not showing their reactions for clicks, I really appreciate that too!
I’ve been binge watching your videos. It’s amazing how you make things look brand new. Things I would’ve thrown away. You most definitely motivate me to clean and are the Queen of cleaning! Keep up the excellent work.
I don’t think we need to see more products. I love how you keep it simple and make cleaning look manageable and affordable by only using a couple of things. Also the less toxic chemicals the better! I love you and your videos, you are such a wonderful person 🥹💜💖
Auri, we love how you say trashes! Don't change it up. It's how we recognize you. I love how non judgemental you are. As for products I prefer the simplicity and economy 9f products used to clean. Less is more. Owning less leads to less clutter.
I love seeing all the Moomin mugs! I love Moomins so much, and it makes me so happy to see Moomin items (like toothpaste or mugs) in people's houses! Seeing them be put in places where they can be enjoyed and used, and the house owners can be in a safe and clean space brings me joy! As someone who struggles with chronic illness and pain your videos really inspire me and help me feel better
You're amazing for talking about mental health and how it physically affects you.. a lot of times I have a bunch of mess around because I feel incapable of doing anything, but then it hits me one day and I get up and clean everything, so I'm grateful that I still have those days and I keep my apartment really clean 🥰
I'm not into cleaning so no idea why youtube dropped me on your channel, but you are a wonderful person and deserve all the support and love in the world. Never change. The world needs more of you
I just love how understanding and sweet you are while talking about the owners of the houses you clean. I'm sure they appreciate it. Less judgement and more help, that's something we all can learn here. Mark, keep up the efforts and you'll have an amazing progress! Hope the changes you made are consistent and you can turn your life around. Love from Brazil. 🇧🇷
You are so inspiring, your content is not only heartwarming but also motivates me and helps me with cleaning, I use many of your tricks. I used to live in a similar mess, now it's much better but would probably still be shocking for "the general audience" - but it keeps getting better. The hardest part is to keep the room clean when depression attacks.
Thank you so much for spreading awareness about the not-so-pretty parts of mental illness and addiction. It's mental health awareness month and I think what you're doing to help those who are struggling is amazing! Plus, you've taught me so much about how to clean my own space properly!!
i love how you explain how to clean different types of dirt with the least effort! 👍 i wish i had someone who could tell me those things when i was 16 years old and living in a 2-room-apartment, my first home after moving out from my parents. due to the fact that no one ever taught me how to clean properly, my home was looking horrible! i was too young and not interested in cleaning all the time and scrubbing surfaces for an hour! i had other things in my mind and rather left it like it was when the dirt didn't come off. i would recommend your channel to every teenager who is gonna move out from their parent's house!
You describe perfectly how someone who is depressed can get in a mess. I can only conclude that you have personal experience with this. My home is not dirty and it is not covered in 'trashes' but it isn't tidy either. Believe it or not alot of messy people are perfectionists and they end up not starting a job because they don't feel they can't complete it to the high standards they expect from themselves. I never feel like I have the energy to tidy things exactly how I want them, so I don't even start the task. I have been trying to teach myself the phrase, "Progress, not perfection." I hope this will help me realise I can do it a little bit at a time and not feel bad about it. I am my own worst critic. Never feeling good enough. It means so much to me everytime I find someone who truly understands. Love today's video. Can't wait for the next. You truly are a wonderful person. I hope you know that. ❤
I recently learned that people gave different organising styles. The style I aspire to does not necessarily fit me and is totally not doable for my partner. Hence, our house is not as tidy as I need for mental rest and cleaning is more difficult than should be. Time for a mindset change for me!
Your voice is as comforting as your cleaning skills. U never judge and never utter insulting words for the owners of these houses. Your heart is pure auri. Thank you for all that you do ❤ love from Chicago
Your open hearted, generosity of spirit brings me close to tears watching your videos. At first I always asked myself how people could live like this, but your marvellous non judgemental explanations of mental health issues have changed my way of thinking. You are truly a champion person and a gem of a friend to those in need.
Thank you for showing that there are people who are non-judgemental towards those with mental illness. If I get depressed or anxious, I usually go the opposite way and compulsively clean everything every day, but I'm also very anxious about germs and bugs, and I live in a warm climate. Videos like this help to educate a lot of people on the different signs of mental illness, especially here in the US where there's still such a stigma surrounding it. I had a former roommate who didn't understand my mental illness or physical disability, and she would always talk down to me about not being able to carry the trash to the dumpster, and then turn around and make it a point to let me know that I washed my hands like 3 times before touching my food. Felt like I couldn't win.
I love your videos the way they are. I just wish they were longer. In this video for example, i would have liked to seen more cleaning from the livingroom and hallway :) Do not bother trying other products, you keep cleaning your way
Sii,sobretodo en ese sofá, que hubiera puesto algo para poderlo limpiar, se hubiera quedado tan perfecto ese comedor. Pero con lo que hace, si encima es gratis, no se debe pedir más.
Hello Auri, I’m always impressed by both your results, as well as your compassion and determination. But still wondering what happens in the ‘rebound’: the cleaning of the soft furnishings, the clothes, dealing with bills etcetera. Does your work inspire family and friends to step in?
You are just simply amazing. Not just with the cleaning and transformation but your ability to not judge these homeowners for what they are going through. Thank you for shedding light on depression.
During the pandemic I fell into really unhealthy habits and combined with a move/rennovation had not deep cleaned/organized in years, let alone stayed on top of surface cleaning. Im on new meds, maintaining surface clean and slowly starting to deep organize too. Thank you for your inspiration Aurii 💜
Thank you for understanding "mental illness". 🤕 I've only started watching your videos for a day. 💐 I think I may be ready to ask for help. 💐 Your gentle way of speaking and your kindness gives me courage. 🥰
Your outlook on life and tackling dirty homes honestly makes my mindset better too!! Some people might walk into mess and think “ugh” but you light up at the excitement of cleaning and I am also trying to have more positive thoughts like that!
Auri, you bring such sunshine and compassion to the people you help. Your videos remind me that there is often a lot more going on with people’s lives than might be apparent. I have a strong urge to clean my kitchen now! ❤️❤️❤️
I have a lot of empathy for Mark because I went through a hell of a lot of the same experiences. I wish him well, and I wish you all the happiness for the wonderful way you show mental health struggles.
i love that auri is absolutely JAZZED about dirt, you can tell this is very satisfying for her lol. helping people and feeding her addiction, its a win win
So happy to wake up to this episode today!!! Your videos put me in the mood to clean and organize and your heart is truly as big as the oceans! Thank you Auri!
Wow! I wish you were in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I'm a 62 yr old disabled women. I have no one to help me clean. Someone like you would be such a blessing to me. You do wonderful job cleaning.
I hope Mark sees this… asking for help is one of the bravest things that you can do! Feel proud of yourself! You are now on the journey to become a better Mark 🤗
Hello, your videos and your perspective to the mental illness really inspired me. I have ADHD and chores are can be overwhelming for us. In pandemic, I was working home and had struggle with 24h staying at home. Cleaning was never enough and when you leave it for next day it can be next week and next month easily and work will be even more difficult then you start to feel overwhelmed even more. I started to watch your videos in those days and you gave me the energy to get up and do cleaning. Now I am back to the office work and I have a routine for cleaning thanks to you. I still struggle but I watch one of your videos and get to work 🤙🙏thank you. You are a good soul 😘
Auri you are an angel on earth! Mental health issues are very common and it doesn't take long for a neat home to look like Mark's did. I am so glad Mark worked through his issues in his personal life and asked for assistance with his home!
love watching your videos especially when you say trashes instead of trash its so cute, im also so happy that these people are getting help as well and they're not being judged nor identified so their privacy is being kept secret so they keep their dignity in piece
"Many of these depressed people feel like they are trash, so their home ending up looking like that. This is a side of mental illness nobody talks about." Auri really cut to the quick on this one 😭😭😭
I truly appreciate the help you give everyone who needs it. I don't think you should use any different products than you do. If the products you use now work for your needs, keep using them. I always love watching your videos. Thank you. Audra from USA
Auri, I know you talk about depression a lot in these videos, but watching your videos calms down my anxiety so much. I can't even put my finger on why. We are all so thankful for your beautiful heart and willingness to love without stipulations. I hope I could use my love of cleaning in a similar way as you someday. I don't say it lightly that you are my hero. And I hope that if you ever got in a place where you needed help, I could come help you, like you've helped me. Hugs:)
Yesterday, I scheduled a visit from a cleaning service to help me by deep cleaning my kitchen and adult disabled son’s bedroom. Years of hospitalizations on his part and depression on mine have led to a home care situation that is out of control. After long consideration with him and his brother, I believe that, with their help, this is an appropriate first step. As a minister, I was taught how to provide help for others but not how to seek it for myself. I am thankful to you and your online community for the encouragement, support, and hope you offer. Thanks for Denise in Indiana, USA.
these videos help motivate me to clean! i have depression and cleaning has surprisingly become a hobby. my room in high school was absolutely just like these places! 🖤
Hey Auri, I wanted to say thank you for the tip with the oven cleaner. I managed to save a cooking pot after a failed cooking attempt. I never would have believed this burnt in stuff came up so easily after a few hours! You are amazing!
Thank you so much for this. I tend to suffer with depression, but knowing there is SOMEONE out there with care and lends a very helping hand without judgment, that is so motivating! I am able to keep my home in much better shape with your example, one cabinet shelf at a time…
You are so kind hearted and hardworking to do all this for Mark. Best wishes to Mark🙏🏻 I love watching what you are able to do for people who need your services. Be well💕
Since I have been watching your video I have started to dishwashering liquid when cleaning it works so well and at work I clean the glass doors and windows with it to and everyone is amazed how good they look and I'm no longer killing myself with chemicals thank you ❤️😸 Melbourne Australia
Hi Auri I wish I had your energy, I'm a single mum of two and I'm emotionally exhausted which make me physically chronically tired fibromalgy and hands issues make it sometimes impossible to fix everything. It makes me happy watching your vids, wish you all the best, greetings from Spain
Aaaah, you are just the best. We don’t need new products, just you, the cleaning and the stories. Mark, you are so inspiring! Brave, strong minded and have great will power. Keep fighting, you’ve got this. We are proud of you 🙌🏽
I really admire your work, your kind heart, and the help you give to people in need. You are right about mistakes. We all make them. Thank you for these videos. I find them very satisfying to watch, and also very motivating.

Struggling with mental or physical illness does not make you a bad person, and you don't deserve to live in dirt just because you do not have the strength to clean.

honestly i like that your supply list is minimal but affective. it shows that anyone can keep a clean home without the use of fancy products. scrub daddy products have changed my cleaning game SO MUCH, and oven cleaner saved the walls around my stove. i've learned so much from your channel.

@@annawallis1528 You're so right! If a pro uses these, I don't need to buy all that other stuff!
Thank you ❤️❤️🫶
Also it shows that anyone can clean, even with the most basic supplies. A clean home doesn’t require a big investment in tools and products.

No im old school like your mom & want to see mutiple products used….🤷🏾♀️
I cleaned my son's college apartment using all of the cleaning products and following your techniques, that you use.

"Would you want me to try different kind of products?"
No!
@Amaya Tenyo I totally agree!
I totally agree with that for this type of video, but I would be up for separate videos where she tests cleaning products and gadgets!

wow this. I see other channels where they use a plethora of super specific and professional products and tools, and I always though of course you are a cleaning master with all those tools! but seeing the results you can get with every day cleaning products is amazing! who would have thought you could clean a really messy space with just dish soap and oven cleaner!

It is wonderful that you are de-stigmatizing and explaining mental illness so well! You are helping people even more than you know! 🥰

A suggestion for a video; teach about the dangers of mixing chemicals. I see so many TikTok’s and videos of people mixing 4 or 5 products and it’s so dangerous!

i wish i had someone who could tell me those things when i was 16 years old and living in a 2-room-apartment, my first home after moving out from my parents. due to the fact that no one ever taught me how to clean properly, my home was looking horrible! i was too young and not interested in cleaning all the time and scrubbing surfaces for an hour! i had other things in my mind and rather left it like it was when the dirt didn't come off.
i would recommend your channel to every teenager who is gonna move out from their parent's house!

This is a side of mental illness nobody talks about."
Auri really cut to the quick on this one 😭😭😭
What an inspiration you are, you are so caring and non-judgemental, its amazing how much you help people, keep up the great work xx
Thank you so much for this. I tend to suffer with depression, but knowing there is SOMEONE out there with care and lends a very helping hand without judgment, that is so motivating! I am able to keep my home in much better shape with your example, one cabinet shelf at a time…
How an amazing person you are! So much care and compassion. Thanks fo this video.
You are so kind hearted and hardworking to do all this for Mark. Best wishes to Mark🙏🏻 I love watching what you are able to do for people who need your services. Be well💕
I deep cleaned my kitchen this morning and told my sisters that I was channeling my inner Aurikatariina! You have made cleaning feel fun!
I look forward to seeing you again! I think it's great how you help people. And by the way, it motivates me to tackle at home. Love it !

Hi Auri
I wish I had your energy, I'm a single mum of two and I'm emotionally exhausted which make me physically chronically tired fibromalgy and hands issues make it sometimes impossible to fix everything.
It makes me happy watching your vids, wish you all the best, greetings from Spain
Aaaah, you are just the best. We don’t need new products, just you, the cleaning and the stories.

That’s so lovely, what a fantastic job you are doing and well done to Mark for turning his life around ❤️
I'm glad that Mark turned his life around and that you were able to help him out and l always enjoy watching
I really admire your work, your kind heart, and the help you give to people in need. You are right about mistakes. We all make them. In fact, I've learned more from my mistakes than I ever learned from anything I've done right. A mistake is a chance to do better next time after learning something important. Thank you for these videos. I find them very satisfying to watch, and also very motivating.
