First time coming accross this content creator. I enjoyed this video so much. I'm current declutterering my home. I find it helps with my anxiousness & improves my mood.
Welcome Ms. Kay! Thank you for watching and leaving such a kind comment.😊🌹 I'm glad you enjoyed this video! I agree with you and have similar feel-better effects from doing it. I hope you're well and have a great week ahead 😍
I'm going through a cleanse and purge right now, Gemma. Our Sydney rentals are getting more pricey for less space. May I recommend staying away from T.K. Maxx? These trash and treasure type stores have so many interesting homewares that I keep returning to my natural cluttered state.
Thank you for watching Dominique - and I hope your clean out goes well and quick! haha Mine took longer than I expected and is still going 😬 Oh no, TK Maxx? I have not been there, I must resist! HA 😅 Thank you for the heads up 😉 I hope you have a great week ahead and keep well!
First time viewing your videos. So many good points! I buy all my shoes used from eBay. I'm loyal to one brand, Brooks, as they have wider toebox. As long as the tread is good, I'm in the market. I've been actively decluttering since just before Christmas. Love the abyss rule! My favorite thought is if I get rid of this what would I use instead? I don't have any single function items such as waffle maker, garlic mincer, etc. I'm focusing on simplicity. Great quality video! 👍
Great and informative video - thank you! Your sense of humor punctuates insightful and keen observations that many of us can relate to. Though I live with less stuff, I have noticed little by little that "things" are starting to creep in --- mostly paper and useless consumables but it can still feel overwhelming. . . and your cat is adorable!
My pleasure! Thank you for watching Jean 😍 I'm glad you enjoyed this video! I feel the same way as you - it's fascinating how much 'stuff' magically appears in the house hahaha. Hope you're keeping well and you have a wonderful week! 😊
Gemma, I agree with you about donating and up to a couple of years ago, I had 4 covenants through my bank to charities. Small amounts.I asked for updates by email. The amount of paper mail I received, sometimes wondering if they were mailing my donation back to me in paper. I asked them to email me, then threatened to cancel if they didn’t acknowledge the waste paper that was then going to recycling. Only 1 took notice. I gradually put all the donations into that one organization. I give directly to places I see in need, food banks.
Thank you for watching Bethany! 😍🌹All creatures great and small here, haha 😅 As scary as they look, at least huntsman spiders are harmless to humans and run away, although this one realllllly wanted to greet me at the door 😂 Hope you're well and have a wonderful week ahead!
Ahhh thank you Abbi! It was fun to try something new, although first time ever cutting lace was do-or-die moment. HA. Thank you for watching and keep well! 🌹😊
Hi Sierra - thank you for watching 😊 Of course, happy to share info! It's the white silver 180% from Amazon (amzn.to/3xywf2L). My first ever and I was sweating about cutting the lace. HAAA 😅 Hope you have a good week!
😅 oh goodness! But wow, that's impressive! If it was me, I'd digitalise a copy for myself. I used to collect the movie cut-out stands in theatres (back in the day when cinemas let you take posters home if you asked nicely at the end of the screenings!).
Thank you so much Nile 😊🌟 I appreciate your support and always bringing your wonderful positive presence. Hope you are having a good day, and your week ahead is a great one 🙂🌹
Hi Cassandra - thank you for watching! 😊 Yes, for now, as far as I know all family are dead. But I am learning about possible charities and shelters I could give all to. I am thinking it might be good to set up little scholarships from the sale of everything, to help interested people receive an education or skill to learn who need help. The future is full of possibilities 😍 Hope you have a great rest of the week!
@@AussieGem I’m sorry to hear that. Good on you for the way you are thinking… my boyfriend gets upset because I talk about what will/ would happen with my possessions if I die… even though I have living family. I am 49 and starting to Swedish death clean, as I understand anything can happen.

I enjoyed hearing your approach to decluttering.
New subsciber from the US. Excellent video. Thank you! And you kept my attention the entire time, which is no easy feat as I age. God bless!

At $750/week, rent in Sydney is my entire net wage 🤢. Thank goodness I live where rent is $700 a month (plus utilities)....

If you don’t mind me asking, where did you purchase your wig?

@@AussieGem I’m constantly updating an Excel spreadsheet and photos, but the collection habit hasn’t stopped.
