la, je suis vraiment étonné de lire des posts critiquant sa robe !! il suffis de regarder les vidéos d'autres sopranos pour constater que Sumi a certainement la plus belle garde-robe de toutes ces grandes artistes, quant à sa sublime voix, comment est-il possible de dire " qu'elle est mal placée où bien qu'elle est trop lente " si ce n'est que la culture de la mauvaise fois qui comme d'habitude sont proféré essetiellement par des amerloocks !!!

I don't know but it seems to me the tempo was a bit off... too slow. I felt Sumi Jo held some notes a bit longer so as to not get ahead of the music. Her voice crystal clear and beautiful as always or maybe it was just me noticing a less than enthusiastic conductor and audience.
+Mark Armenta It's definitely a more lyrical performance of this particular aria, as opposed to the rather acrobatic approach that other singers employ on this year. I kinda like it. I think it's a better expression of the text. More thoughtful. That said... wasn't loving the super messy ending that the orchestra played.
+Marybeth Kurnat Gone are my thoughts of a conductor conspiring with the audience to confuse the artist and myself with a different tempo just because this was the first time I had heard this aria performed differently from what I have been used to. You understood my confusion and clearly defined it along with the highlights I just would not hear. I appreciate it and thank you.

She's beautiful anyway but the dress makes her more seductive & absolutely irrestible! Oh - & she is the greatest singer around; that voice gives me tingles up the spine .
