Sorry to necro after 3 weeks but I've just gone wandering through the internet after finishing the game, but same. Like he'd always been an intellectual, a writer. But even after everything he'd been through and suffered, he was willing to put it all on the line again, this time understanding EXACTLY what he was risking. My first thought was well if Saga is the hero, there can't be only one, because you're one too. Made a whole lot of sense too with the whole 'the hero has to pay the price' thing, what a guy.
I really don't understand why people are acting like she was nice or good. She was just a crazy jealous fan simping for Tom. It's not like she was doing anything out of goodness in her heart, she was just doing them because his sweetheart
Yeah they really went a bit overboard with the jumpscares in this chapter. Personally I got a bit annoyed after some time just because there were so many. Probably one of the few minuses in this amazing game.

I didn’t complete Alan Wale 1, only watched TH-cam story explanation, so I didn’t know about thing song. Man, I completed Alan Wake 2 weeks ago and I listen to this song every day sing then. It’s so good. Just the moment I heard it in the game…. It was so perfect. Real Game of the year.

This song is from the first alan wake, its called the poet and the muse by old gods of asgard (obviously) its describing to alan where he can find the clicker, which was kept by cynthia weaver, the lady of the light, in "the well lit room" in order to keep it safe from the dark presence. Cynthia weaver was also the one who kiddnaped tor in this chapter which is super sad because she helped alan defeat the dark presence in the firat game and now she was taken. Rip the lady of light 😢

Yeah I stood there and just embraced that moment. As soon as that song came on im like “shut the fuck up rose the jukebox is playing” and I walked away. And the memories rushed through me. Good times. This game completed me after all these years

I mean it was all Roses fault. If she did act like a teen groupie and took Toms lamp, Cynthia wouldn’t get possessed by the dark.
