Very relaxing and they turned out so good! Must admit my misophonia was acting up a bit for the sketchy parts but everything else was lovely. I feel like I’m literally the only person on earth that doesn’t like asmr 😂. I’d personally love to see more of this type of content.
Thank you for the feedback! I also have misophonia, so I did my best to balance the music and sketching (which was louder for this particular piece since it was on the cover). I'll keep it in mind moving forward though!
You're definitely not alone! I usually turn sound off for the sketching part of a video if it gets bad enough 😊❤️ tho it felt about manageable in this video for me, I think the music did help. But it'll be different for each person!
@@InLiquidColorhow incredibly different humans can be from one another! I have ADHD, and I love the sound of doodling if it not to scratchy or acute/high (kinda like nails on chalkboard are terrible to me - and I imagine, to most other people lol! - but normal sketching sounds feel so relaxing to me. I would totally skip the music tho, although this one is quite tolerable for being calm fluid and non repetitive (fluid as in no drums nor heavy riffs). But, any sound aside, I am absolutely mesmerized by watching you sketch. It’s relaxing and so pretty! When you paint its kinda like magic just blooming on the paper. And it’s calming for the sheer beauty of layers of color, textures and such. But with the sketching is more of the process of creating the drawing, more technical in a sense…. But also so calming, in a more grinding and simplistic or structural way. Such different techniques and vibe, but both relaxing and entertaining! And this is the best of both worlds all in one. Loved it! Ive been watching you since the pandemic hit, and I don’t remember finding a video on your channel of you sketching before (or perhaps just didn’t find those videos yet). Absolutely amazing! I admit I love the longer videos. Watching you create art just inspires! I could watch for hours, and indeed I have haha 😅 Thank you for this video! Also, geese are such pretty, quirky and fierce creatures! Quite fun to see them come to life in your pages.
Even hearing the scratch of your sketching pencil was oddly comforting! You make the forms and values look so easy. Very enjoyable! The only small suggestion that would help (me, anyway) was to occasionally show your ref photos during the process, as a comparison.
Thank you, Katie! That's always a struggle for me too! I was worried about putting out a quieter video, and I'm so happy to hear you still enjoyed it 💜
What a lovely treat to calmly wake up to 💖 love the shapes of the geese, the colours and the way the forest blue stands out so green against the geese (i have it too, it does usually read a bit more blue - yay for relative colour!)
Hullo Denise, I love to see you creating videos and watching you make a painting is a joy. I know how hard making voice-overs work is to do. I have never been a real fan of the musical overlay. It is one reason I have never quite enjoyed speed paints, they are just rather annoying. I do like it when the Artist I am watching create gives me a bit more for my attention. I want to understand why your making the edits, strokes, choices in the picture that your making! Why you choose the sketching method your using, so many different schools for this, Right? Well I hope your doing well and continue to create more videos and that your living situation has settled into a more harmonious way for your continued health. I love my new Denise's Gray paint from DaVinci and your rather spoiling me and if I am honest contributing to my laziness in mixing shadows n shades. Thank You, your an amazing Artist and I am so glad your doing well, and that your Patrons are still going strong!!
I love real speed because I learn new techniques easier that way ❤
As always, lovely piece!
This was a relaxing video to watch! Stormy Blue is such a delight! I hope you're able to do more casual videos like this.
I've got a cup of tea, a super cuddly dog in my lap and this video going - I think I'm at peak calm relaxation right now
Aaah! That sounds absolutely lovely.
I love this video, great format, both for relaxed watching or follow-along 🎉❤
This is so relaxing. Love the way the background made everything else pop!
I so love painted birds! Thx tonzz for sharing!! Saved this video 🥰
Super relaxing! Big fan of longer draw with me videos :3
I love the way the pencil hatches show through! 🥰

So fun! I was afraid my mind was going to wander without the talking but it turns out that I was entranced the whole way through!

Wonderful the way the background colour and the manner in which you applied it brings ‘life’ to the geese!

Awh these are so cute! Love the Denise Gray for this... Wish I could get my hands on Da Vinci paints here as well!
Love this sketchy style, and the noodly necked birbs :)
Beautiful!
Adorable little guys!!
Thank you for the video. I am intrigued by the angular lines you used in the sketch. I will have to keep that in mind and try it at some point.
OMG Birds!
