I love the fact that you're alone and enjoy life so much. More people need to do that, because if you can't be alone, you don't love yourself. I am 63, was married most of my adult life, and have been alone (with my Husky) for 4 years now for the first time in my life. I enjoy my alone time, and have learned a lot. I own a 2001 Minnie Winnie, and have been on and off the road for 2 years now. I wish I would've been able to do this years ago, it's been great! Stay safe out there!
lovely music, drone and photography. Solitude is underrated in modern society. Love the wooden ceiling. I've lived out of my toyota troop carrier many times, including near ski resorts. Can get a bit claustro sometimes. In -10 evenings and mornings used a Mr Heater portable butane stove (has CO cuttoff sensor). And turned it off when I slept. Went backcountry Nordic skiing in kosziusko NP here in Aus (yes we have snow !). Also have a sea kayak which I use to do island to island hopping. Living out of a backpack and hiking can also be quite an experience. My Mother at 84 still does 6 week stints living out of her van. Enjoy, Jules.
Miss Duggan, that experience was absolutely lovely. And the last cut of you being perched on the rock with your journal sums up everything in total. Planning on getting a Class-B camper myself due to videos such as yours and others because I'm getting kind of tired of living vicariously through others' experiences (please, PLEASE do not take that as an insult, ma'am) and have a very strong desire to see some natural greens and blues, and namely solitude within the silence. Keep fighting forward, young lady, and again I sincerely thank you. :)
Here's a tip, get a small cup and fill half way with water and rinse your toothbrush by swishing it around violently therein so you don't need running water. You could also drill hole in floor and run a hose from a funnel through it so you don't have to open a door to discard grey water.
I love your journey I’m recently separated from my wife 20 years together and I plan on a solo trip like this but with my pick up truck and a tear drop trailer, you inspired me❤️ we show you could be all alone and still be HAPPY 😁
Hannah, I am from Grand Marais and I have coffee in the mornings before work on Artist Point to start my day. It's the most magical of places. I am currently living in June Lake , CA outside of Yosemite and I have be here almost two years without seeing my home. Thank you so much on capturing my home so well. It really made my day! I know the area like the back of my hand and know many people there. If you need anything please let me know and I can make sure you are taken care of. Thanks again, Josh Rice.
I found your channel by shear randomness.....and, i watched some of your videos. I subscribed today.....because, your videos are so calming and take me to a sane and relaxing place where, for a short time, my soul and brain can find peace. Thank you for the medicine to me your channel provides.
I always love watching your videos. Nice getaway for me from my stressful life. But I'm always afraid though when you travel to these lonely places and you park there and spend the night there. I'm 66 years old and I'm still afraid of being alone. I don't think I'll ever be as brave as you. Enjoy ur life and be safe dear.
So happy you made this video. My daughter is 24 and live on the shores of lake Erie. I imagine her wandering along the shore getting some space during this weird time of social distancing. The lake views you shared are a lot like where she is. Thanks!
Oh yesss. I remember how amazing your travel videos are and how so very capable you are. Really great videography. The whole world has to navigate what is going on and going through the gambit of emotions. You are so talented. Thank you for this ray of sunshine.
Not only did Hannah reverse the whole way out but she used her mirrors , there are alot of men I know that can't do that. What a beautiful serene place to stay by the seaside. Stunning.
Now this is a great version of "social distancing". Nice scenery out there! I hope to get out and do some of this myself, once restrictions go back to normal, or whatever our normal ends up becoming. Stay safe!
I watched this video with my granddaughter and we loved it! We had just came back from a day hike\ camp and she was impressed to see a woman enjoying the outdoors alone. Very nicely done!
Young woman, I think you are about the same age as my son. Much the same way I enjoy seeing into his world, I enjoyed being allowed to see a bit of yours. Please be safe out there and travel well. All the best, Dave
I can't count how many times I've had to do exactly that because every time I've tried to turn around in a situation like that I got stuck or bogged down!!! Don't worry that you're doing the right thing and you're doing it the way you're supposed to be doing it because you're on your own pace on your own schedule so just enjoy be present,be present, and if you can share, that's your present to us!!🎁👍
I just stumbled on your channel. You caught my ear when you said Northshore. I have a Cabin on a small lake an hour south of Duluth. We love to go to Canal Park and work our way up the Northshore. When you said where you were, I was thinking be careful. That concrete walk way is a very treacherous walk being alone. Nowhere as safe as the one in Two Harbors. I like your van. Looks like you did a great job fixing it up to work for you. I really enjoyed this video. Enjoy your freedom, Bless you and be safe.
The sunrise is spectacular to say the least. Cold lake water , I bet. You are to be admired, someday you will look back on this and feel really proud of your adventure. Russ from Oregon
we share a birthday,,, so happy belated, beautiful. don’t feel pressure to put videos out for your viewers. we understand and will stick with you. truly an inspiration
The world belongs to the young/ The ones who seek truth/ Their travels long or short/ Insearch of everlasting youth/ Our time only evident/ When we compose the note/ The pen now silent/ After the words we wrote/ And the stone and water/ Sitting silhouette before the sun/ The journal and solace/ Of another day done/
The world belongs to it’s self. We just borrow it for a while. The concept of ownership of is contrived. Even your body is borrowed. You will have to give it back to the world one day.
Beautiful. It was soothing to watch. Inspirational. And in every way a video can be enjoyable. Thank you for all your stories. And thank you for your gorgeous style production.
Station Eleven is one of my favorite books but you're the first person I've heard who has read it (other than the people I have convinced to read it). It's such a special story, I'm glad you like it and are talking about it.
I agree with some of the othercommenters ,congrats on your backing. As a former truck driver and equipment operator , I can't understand the common habit of turning their head over the shoulder and not seeing either side of the vehicle or the road! I look forward to more of your videos.
So cool to See the Walleye fish store front. I've been going by that store on my way to Canada since I was a little boy. I'm 52 now and was just there last summer and I don't know if the border will be open this year. Thanks for a nice gentle trip down memory lane.
This was a really soothing watch - thank you :-) the scenery is absolutely gorgeous and really increases my wanderlust!! I’ve never been to a pine forest before but it just looks so beautiful
Wow wee Hannah you are a very good backer not many could do that as a former Truck driver some people can't even drive forwards on a bicycle let alone back up in a Van lol Great job!!!
Beautiful video Hannah. I hope you had a wonderful birthday although it may have been spent alone. Every year I really enjoy spending my birthday alone on the north shore. Grand Marais is one of my favorite spots and artists point is a gem!
We get to accumulate things as we get older. I don't know why. Probably the memories things bring you, maybe we just get too attached to material things, or perhaps we just get old and stubborn and just don't want to throw nor give away things. And yet, the way you're living feels so attractive, appealing... romantic. If only I was 20* years younger I'll definetly would give it a try: I stumbled upon your video looking for photography related videos, don't know why this showed up in my screen but glad it did. With only 3 videos seen I learnt to admire your craftmanship, your determination, your... I don't know how to say it... the way you're not afraid to show your downs, not only your ups, and of course, your driving in reverse, AMAZING! =) Will suscribe and watch so I can dream with a simple (not in a bad way at all) life like yours.
I appreciate these videos you go to some gorgeous places! It gives me the opportunity to see something I probably will never get the chance to see in person cool thank you
Had me @1:41. You got your priorities straight 😹. Gotta stay hydrated and get your carbs. Thx for the virtual ride. Needed to get out of this Stay-at-home.
I LOVED this video and it’s because of its simplicity. Just you and some amazing scenery. Can’t wait for the next one. Love from the lower half of the mitten 🤙🏻🖤
Happy happy birthday Hannah🎂🎂🎂🎉🍾🎤 I hope you got your B-Day wish! Love your scenic and relaxing videos! Let me know if you ever visit Boston or Cape Cod and islands. Very beautiful in the summer 🤗👍👍😎☀️ Gary F
I used to think that the rocky beach like that - wasn't great... But then it dawned on me - that rocks are actually better than sand...because when you leave it, you don't track sand between your toes, in the shoe threads... in your car, to your house... etc... In this way - rocks are Much better.
Loved the video as usual. And I was thrilled to find out that Audible is giving unlimited audiobooks right now! I'm always looking for something to listen to while at work so I don't feel so alone. 😅
Wow! You can backup down the road and talk at the same time. I can barely back out of my driveway.
As a professional truck driver I really respect those backing up skills.
don't feel pressured to put out videos on a schedule, we all support you even if you don't meet your own "deadlines."
♥️ that’s so nice to hear. just trying to hold myself accountable 😉😊
hannahleeduggan I totally understand that (I'm a huge procrastinator myself) keep having fun out there and good luck ❤️
Yeah defo! We love you and don’t want you to feel pressure. We just love seeing you loving life and enjoying yourself! ♥️♥️♥️
Hi Hannah :)
Love, love all your videos! :)
i know I am kinda randomly asking but do anybody know of a good place to watch newly released tv shows online?
A peaceful life is what we all deserve.
Her videos always make me want to cry...they inspire to persue the small, simple, and truly beautiful moments in life. Thanks for the upload.

Happy travels to ya!

Awesome backwards driving in the beginning of the video!!!
Hahahahahaha thanks I’ve been getting really good at it from all the treacherous roads I seem to like to go down 😂
@@hannahleeduggan Do you ever get stuck on those treacherous roads, great job backing up..
madtownangler I’m not too good at that, going backwards thing💜
Not only did Hannah reverse the whole way out but she used her mirrors , there are alot of men I know that can't do that.
What a beautiful serene place to stay by the seaside. Stunning.
Beautiful sunsets. Thank you for sharing what we have here on earth. You are a blessing to us that have found you.
The North shore of Lake Superior is one of my favorite places on Earth. Thanks for posting it made me miss it even more.
Love, love, love the simple and natural life you have embraced.
the speed and ease of her backing up is... amazing
You're still doing it.... While many others are sidelined, you are still camping around and making beautiful setting videos.... Good Job.
Now this is a great version of "social distancing". Nice scenery out there! I hope to get out and do some of this myself, once restrictions go back to normal, or whatever our normal ends up becoming. Stay safe!

What a refreshing look at van life. So glad I found your channel.
I love that town. I am heart broken that they had that fire! I am sure we are a community can help their economy once this lock down is lifted!!!
Pretty cool to see my hometown on TH-cam. It's a Beautiful place to visit but not to live.
Tawny Schlienz How so? I’ve thought of living there for awhile at least.
Tawny Schlienz What is the name of the town?
Beautiful video Hannah. I hope you had a wonderful birthday although it may have been spent alone. Every year I really enjoy spending my birthday alone on the north shore. Grand Marais is one of my favorite spots and artists point is a gem!
