Overall, it was an excellently presented clip. But one shouldn't forget that Singapore has long been attuned to anticipating American moves and taking not just pro-activr but also preemptive positions. For example, Singapore has long been pro-Israel while it is only in recent times that the US' America First began to also read Israel First even in the US. Furthermore, Singapore did not wait for the US to turn isolationist before it embarked on greater regionalization initiatives. So, though there may be some impact in the financial and technological sectors, these may not translate to a GAME OVER for Singapore under Trump as alluded to by this otherwise excellent clip. 😂 ❤

@@JINGMINGCHEN-j1o Assuming they need us more than we need them
The United States will not abandon its listening post in Singapore due to Singapore's strategic location. However, Chinese ships will use the Kra Canal to bypass the congested Strait of Malacca.
@@JINGMINGCHEN-j1o You do know that at present, China is uncommitted in the Kra Canal project? And also, it is meant to be a land bridge now, which limits the efficiency of the logistics. Also, the Kra Canal has been on and off the table for at least the last 150 years. Thailand is aware of the problem it will have should the canal be built, separating the Muslim south from the rest of Thailand.
@@Black_Sun_Dark_Star Will the Muslim south join Malaysia in the future?
The liberal-woke views/opinions. Just take it as a pinch of salt.
Singapore will benefit from trump 2.0 , as was trump 1.0!
Whatever it is it would be for the next 4 years only barring an equally crazy, or worse, president after that. The disastrous effects from his policies on the U.S., envisaged by many economists, would have played out in the 4 years thereby limiting the scope for further crazy policies.
US companies should return to the US. MAGA❤
on appelle cela : parler pour ne rien dire .
Nonsense!😂😂😂 spore is American ally for better or worse!
Should be game over for America?
Whoever created this video clearly does not understand the Singapore govt. The Singapore govt may have its own preferences about who the US president should be, but unlike the US Democrats, the Singapore govt is pretty pragmatic. I am sure even before the US Presidential election began, they have already considered the possibility that Trump might win and took appropriate measures by this time.
Then, this small-island nation shall be less arrogant. Maybe, at least by 1% lesser.
Game changer ateu kleung kamo galak that kleng 😗
Game changer, no doubt. Game over? Then the commentator does not know Singapore. Check out Dr Balakrishnan's reply to Gerald Giam in Parliament just yesterday. Then the commentator will hopefully better understand why Singapore will continue to thrive.
Yeah by sanctioning Russia. Thanks.
You should go do your homework
I fully support Trump increasing tariffs so that US economy is protected by cheap goods especially from China flooding their markets, causing goods and products made in USA to be out of demand and hence no supply ! I have always love products and goods made originally in USA, Japan, Britain ! I welcome President Trump's common sense where even our Singapore government lacks !
Singapore is like a cemetery. Its fences up. People are dying to get in.
We must stand form because ACT OF GOD
We strongly believes that japan, skorea, taiwan, and Philippines will like usa suddenly switch sides and say bye bye usa,,,??. And all nations stant
