    I want to encourage you to keep making these videos. I know it's a lot of extra work but it has prompted me to use your service when we move to our new home in Irving at the end of the year. You guys do great work and your videos are very informative.

    I will never put speakers in cabinet period I am serious about my sound not about so called ( clean ) look ... And surrounds are better above the ear level but anyway ... Pretty sure your customer is happy with the setup and that is all it matters.... Good job

    Great video. I dont like the surround speakers, I think they are B&W DS3s which I have owned and I always thought were weak. The installation was top notch, great job guys. Why would you need two subs in a room this small? What am I missing?

  • @DarrenJamesNI
    @DarrenJamesNI 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Another awesome video...AND install. Quick question regarding calibration. Whilst you did mention that once you run the AVR’s auto EQ you tend to tweak it, do you let the AVR setup the subs aswell or so you run them separately via the SVS’s onboard EQ features??
    I would of though the subs propriety EQ would offer better results no??

    How did those bipoles sound in his room. Do you prefer bipoles or monopoles for most 7.2.4 systems in a room such as his. I wonder if monopoles would keep the surround more directional since you have 4 back surrounds and whether the dipoles would muddle things up?

    • @markrowe8824
      @markrowe8824 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have always used bi/dipole speaker's for the rear channels in my home cinema system as for me they provide the best spread of sound around the room.

    Hi, I need some advice. I am planning to set up 180" screen SI Zero edge. Wish to have my SVS speakers behind the screen (2 x fronts + Centre and may be 2 front high). Which 4K AT screen would you suggest? or Should I have the speakers on the side and NOT behind the screen. Thanks for ur advice. Raj

    • @jasonswartzbaugh3925
      @jasonswartzbaugh3925 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can't recommend a screen. However there's nothing wrong with doing speakers behind a screen. Remember that's what your local movie theater does. Just make sure the screen is acoustically transparent.

      Those looked like the SVS SB 4000s to me. They didn't have the 3 ports on the bottom, and looked like the sealed subs. Sealed is less efficient but are tighter and sound better, especially with music. Ported would be way too much for that tiny space, in my opinion.

    nice room and speakers but two things I don't like, led lighting around the screen, just a gimmick and really annoying when watching a movie and secondly I don't see the point of the side cabinets, their sole purpose seems to be a place to put the front speaker's.

    hope the customer plans on elevating that back row of seats or nobody is EVER going to enjoy sitting there having to look over the row in front. then again nothing about that back row is ideal because even if they do elevate it, they are gonna have the projector right over their heads blasting fan noise and hot exhaust air on them.
