Good information. I'll be replacing our oven/range in the next year and this will come in handy. Thanks!

Hi there, just wanted to say I found this video and the other one about oven amazing. I was looking online for some info and advice but it was so confusing. You have made it so easy to understand the pros and cons and what available out there. Many thanks 👍 (JazakAllah)

Would have helped if you'd described the pros and cons of each fuel. I have no idea from this what a ceramic or an induction hob actually is.

Your remark about location regulations just got me panicked. I’m getting a kitchen refitted soon, and I’m placing a hob between two windows. I never once asked the designer whether there were minimum distances to the windows stipulated in regs (e.g. thinking about flammable curtains). But it’s 400mm clearance. Hopefully that’s fine. (I’m getting rid of my curtains - it just doesn’t seem right to have in a kitchen).

Excellent video. Can you please answer this query ASAP.
What is legal requirement for the gap between a gas hob Edge and a wall or tall unit?next to it. I mean, minimum clearance on the sides. Thanks.

Any information is available on the gas safe website, but any installers will always refer to the manufacturers recommended installation guide which will be availablevin the instructions.
