I think it also depends on the angle at which the microphone perceives the sound. If the microphone is from the direction in which the frame is filmed, it will definitely perceive the Yamaha speaker differently compared to the Medeli one. And clearly the quality of the loudspeakers is also important. A proper test of the sounds, would be via cable in stage speakers or monitors because you don't play the music from their speakers.

A very good example that Medeli is not challenging the Yamaha and is nothing close to a super high quality keyboard worth thousands of dollars. But in the same time, it is a very good quality/price choice.

The first absolutely minimal thing he should have done is to use a good audio card, with four audio inputs, and record CORRECTLY sounds played using different velocities, using no effects, etc... It's exactly like you say "let's compare a Korg and Yamaha" just by listening some randomly chosen sounds on each machine, and say "Hmmmm, Yamaha sounds better than the Korg" Here, we just see two machines he decided to compare without any reason (why specifically the PSR775 ? Because he had one in his studio ? Not really a good reason), without any criteria list or even explanation (he does not even say the name of the presets he choosed on each machine) Your conclusion is exactly like "get a MacBook rather than a PC, because it costs much more money..."
I think the Medeli doesn't win on sound quality or realism. But it definitely wins on the bang for buck aspect. To get all these features for 1000 USD is a pretty good deal. But if you are someone who already owns a high end Yamaha arranger (or equivalent) you probably can't replace it with the Medeli unless it's more than 10-15 years old!
Lot's of things are unfair. Like, for example, the unfinished OS for a 5000 EUR keyboard. This comparison is quite at its place. We should put in balance more than the price. I will give you another example: Medeli have midi over Bluetooth from factory. I had to pay 50 EUR in plus for Pa5 for a Midi connector from Yamaha to make the same as I would with Medeli. Now, on the other side, the factory sounds are not comparable. Pa 5 is in another level, but on the sampling, we could have big surprises... Menurut saya bukan masalah volume tapi kwalitas. Walau volume kencang kalau kwalitasnya jelek malah bs tambah jelek. Saya kira harga kedua produk ini yang menyebabkan agak kurang apple to apple.

The problem is the sound quality from both keyboard are not comparable, cuz the sound production came from the speakers, a little bit stupid isn't it. Change again your demo...I hear every tone with my sennheiser headphone..this demo sound is worthless and stopped listening 🎶
There in competition right now mine sounds very good even when eq and compression comes to tweaks you can even get more sound banks into it and use it to your favorite plugins in your computer as a controller

Yes and no. S775 has many things în plus and Medeli also, has many features în plus. What I can say for the S775: internal voices are far better than the internal voices of te Medeli AKX, keyboard bed superior also and the materials used in its construction same. Medeli has Midi over Bluetooth, which I loved, lovely touch screen and the software for creating voices is much better than Yamaha Expansion Manager or even the Korg's sound Creator. Both are great keyboards, but the construction is not top for neither of them. Maybe the next Medeli top keyboard will surpass the Yamaha keybaord and will compete with Genos not with the middle level ones. One more thing: the Sam samples sound better on the Medeli than even Genos (believe me; I had them both) and it is not only my opinion. Wish you the best!
