I don't really do the instagram thing for posting my own pictures, but I do follow a ton of people. Everyone really enjoys seeing their posts recognized or reposted by the brands and Influencers. I got the set as soon as I saw it in use by Angelica Nyqvist. The mattes in that palette are STUNNING! Not a fan of pressed glitters, at all... But if you're going to have pressed glitters, make them great, and make them holo, please! The formula isn't as wet as Colourpop's, for example. It's more kind of waxy than wet. Like, you can dig your finger right into a Colourpop one, and you can't so easily do it with these. It spreads out and then actually stays in place, doesn't shed glitter. I just wish they had more cool-toned lip liners and lippies. 😭
I agree with you about Natasha Deborah. Her comment about being the first eye safe multi chrome just rubbed me the wrong way. Any time a larger business undermines much smaller ones it makes my hackles rise. If by chance I win, I would love the purple one please😊💗
I hear you about Juvias place, I haven’t purchased any of their palettes this year. I do love the lip liners and lipsticks though. Such a good release. Agreed on Lunar Beauty too. I like Manny MUA, but I would love Linar Beauty even without him being attached to it. I haven’t regretted a single purchase from them. I wouldn’t be mad at the Juvias purple set :)
Same here. Still love them, just hate pressed glitters, and wish they had more true cool-toned lip liners and bullet lippies, specifically in light to medium shades. I love the formulas of these, but most of the colours look "off," on me. Same as Propa! I wish they had more true cool-tones. There are maybe 2 in their collection that I could currently wear. I've heard it hinted (Angie, I think?) that they're releasing more shades, soon, so that's awesome! 👍🏻

Totally agree on the brands you are loving! The tiny marvels palette was my first experience with Sydney grace and it blew me away!! And the new eternal eclipse palette from lunar beauty is beyond beautiful!!! This has definitely been the year where I’ve fallen in love with indie brands and it’s in huge part from watching your videos, so thank you for sharing how great these brands are with us!!!

you put me onto sigil inspired and i'm seriously considering buying some of their stuff! it's actually not too bad shipping to the UK (compared to so many US-based brands), I hope they'll do more palettes/pressed singles in 2021 because their pigments are sooo pretty but i'm 100% a pressed shadow gal

I absolutely fell in love with Melt this year. I love so many of their products and have bought so much lately. Fell deeply out of love with Bite. They discontinued their best products and the marketing when they went vegan felt super pandering and some of their new formulas don't hold up and seem cheapened. (Don't come for me) P.S. Orange
One of my favourite everyday lippies (Amuse Bouche in Spritzer) got discontinued, and I only just noticed a couple weeks ago. They do not sell bullet lippies, anymore. I really liked the packaging and the formula of those! 😣 They were super creamy and comfortable to wear. I also still like the Agave Lip Mask, but I only want it in peppermint or candy cane or whatever the mint one is called. I use it over something more humectant-heavy, and it really seals it in all night!
The first 4 brands are the same for me too. Also fallen out of love with Anastasia Beverly Hills :( But then re-fallen in love with Makeup Geek older and new shadows, theyre so good ! I dont want to win anything here, just commenting :)

I just used Juvia's The Douce palette today and it is so fantastic. They need to get back to palettes like that! You are one of the first channels I watched featuring Juvia's, so thank you! I think the purple palette is gorgeous and would love to try out the set!
Juvia's place is seeming like a completely different brand than it once was, but at least I am liking both, though I am sad to see some of their old palettes go like the Doucce and the Saharan 2. I'd love to try the purple palette!
This is such a cool concept! Brands i fell in love with are Terra Moons and Lethal cosmetics, and one that I've kind of fallen out of love with is Lisa Eldridge funnily enough. I just had such a stressful time at the lipstick launch, I didn't manage to snag Velvet Affair and every time I tried to check out things would pop in and out of stock, and finally I just had a bad experience with their customer service too. I understand there was probably so much traffic to the site, but the novelty of the exclusivity of these launches has worn off for me. I still love my lipsticks but I'm not gonna make an order at launch again, I'm over stressing about makeup, even when it's out of excitement.

So glad you mentioned Looxi, I thought I was doing something really wrong because it would separate and melt into gray smudge if it got the tiniest bit damp. Even nyx glitter glue wasn’t keeping them together-if you can’t make them behave then no one can :)

I just received my Sydney Grace Enduring ❤️ Love palette and I can’t believe the pigmentation of these shadows, they also have the best customer service and shipping is great! I haven’t even tried it on my eyes yet but I’m sure I’ll love it. Oh and the ‘Julia’s Place ‘ I like purple! 💜💜💜

Now I don’t feel so bad that the day I received my shadows and put them into a palette I immediately dropped the palette and two shadows completely shattered. I ended up putting what I could scoop up together of both and repressing them into one shadow. So I guess that was the universe saying don’t use these lol.
Ooh! Purple please! 💜💜💜💜💜💜 I'm so with you on pressed glitters. The idea of the little bits scratching my eyeball is terrifying. The whole eye-safe/not eye-safe thing is interesting, because it's a distinction that happens for so many reasons and it would be really nice if the reasons for declaring something non-eye-safe would be included. Because like, if it's a staining issue, I'm not bothered, but if it's going to HURT my eyes, I want to know about it. Basically I'm advocating for more transparency (in information, not in the formula lol. Opaque shadows plz)
I feel like I missed the Juvias hype train, I only bought my first palette of theirs this year. It was the Nomad palette, the color story of which I adore. And orange for me haha :)
I think Looxi's last collections are amazing tbh. I have VERY oily lids but with a glitter glue they last pretty well. But they never answer questions it's so annoying.

I totally agree on Looxie!! I bought a bunch of their singles last year and they all break up on my eyelids withing minutes!! It's insane, I have never seen other shadows do that! It's so sad cause when you swatch them, they are beautiful. I have shades from them that they definately reformulated cause I have seen Angie and other rave about them and on me they just melt away. I feel like I missed the Juvias hype train, I only bought my first palette of theirs this year. It was the Nomad palette, the color story of which I adore. And orange for me haha :)

I think Looxi's last collections are amazing tbh. I have VERY oily lids but with a glitter glue they last pretty well. But they never answer questions it's so annoying.

Did u get the Black Friday collection? I have alot of looxi but I don't wear them that much anymore either mainly bc I lean toward my Devinah,Terra moon, and Clindoah shades

I feel the same with Juvias Place. There for awhile I had every palette they made. But I just fell out of love with their stuff. Though I'll take anything purple 😆
I'm super excited to try sigil inspired in the new year! (the palettes they are sneak peaking look so interesting) But I'd love the orange one.

I totally agree on Looxie!! I bought a bunch of their singles last year and they all break up on my eyelids withing minutes!! It's insane, I have never seen other shadows do that! It's so sad cause when you swatch them, they are beautiful. I have shades from them that they definately reformulated cause I have seen Angie and other rave about them and on me they just melt away. Ps:That yellow Juvia's place palette totally speaks to me...
