I have loved the '69 charger since I was 11 and I literally made almost the same color scheme on mine in some of my drawings then the crew 2 a few years later when it came out. It is a bright green color with a matte black hood and spoiler. After seeing this one, I realized that I hadn't been thinking about the insane possibilities that could be done with such a large and beautiful car. Thank you for making this video. I have now seen my dream to life. It is truly perfect.
What I would do. Modern reliability and added power and ease of tuning with the classic body styling. Screw keeping them original unless already a rare, pristine example!!
68 and 69 Chargers were the best looking muscle cars of their time... and they still are today. This render is absolutely amazing. If I had the money... I would have them build me one and pay them twice the price. This car is beautiful.

Absolutely amazing build!! If I had any criticism to make, it would be the headlights. Just look odd being 'flat'. Not sure how to describe it. That's just a nitpicky thing though as the build as a whole is jaw dropping! Congrats to the team that put that together!

I agree but for obvious reasons they had to turn them into 4 doors (Charger and the Dart) or else they would have nothing but two doors and sales would be shit.

Absolutely amazing. Make your next one a desaturated mint gray color with same matte black stripe, with dark tan interior, the same matte black wheels and make the hood the same color as the body and don't LED the tail lights. 😍
I love the 68-70 Chargers as they came from the factory, the 426 Hemi especially. But i've seen far too many, in recent years and in my opinion, that are just way too much and over the top. Yes, the original wheels/tyres were too small, so upgrading them to a moden setup makes sense and, with the right choice, can look great, but 22's! No. They look daft and make the car horrible to drive. When "restomodded" well though, they can look great, and this one is just fuckin' incredible, and what a creation. A 69, but with a Hellcat heart and soul. And while it certainly wouldn't be my choice of colour, i can't imagine a much better combination, and hats off to those guys as it looks like the quality of the conversion is astounding. The front end especially looks, not only fantastic, but like it came from the factory. I dread to think what that cost to build, but if it was built to order by a customer, he's one lucky bastard. Beautiful.
Any car with such a motor MUST be driven with the proper manual transmission..,..the pleasure of going through the gears with that kind of torque and power multiplies the driving pleasure by miles....
I saw this car in Chicago is got to be the best restomod ever gorgeous rear end just wish the original dash so how it would be perfect but still beautiful I would pay a million dollars for it but I don't have it.
This is the kind of product that dodge SHOULD be making, these shops like this solidify every time I see their products, that dodge in 2019 just blows. Yes, the hellcat is cool, but this is what a charger should be. Take a hint dodge, you're operating sub par.
You can blame the government with safety mandates. Reason why all modern cars are curved like soap bars is because of “pedestrian collision” you’re less likely to chop someone in half with a curved hood, rather than this hard edged beauty. The safety and emission standards is what killed car character and personality that oldies had with fins and pointed grills and pop up headlights and such.
Funny how people think the hellcat is a new idea car that just recently came out...but they actually conceptualized the hellcat back in 1969...but it never got off the ground.
I would have picked a different set of rims. These look a bit too much like Japanese Tuner wheels too me. Some modern mags, rallye wheels, or modern Challenger/Charger rims would fit better in my opinion.
Of course everything hooks up fine. You put and old charger on a new hellcat frame and components. Lots of modification to make it work. But it's a hellcat underneath. Still looks great BTW.
