Mythbusters proved you can fail an opiate test with poppyseeds. I tested positive for PCP after taking too much NyQuil. I’ve never even seen PCP 😂

Very real (and scary) condition. This affects my family member and their diet has been so restricted to eliminate carbs and complex sugar entirely. They've blown up to a .34 on a breathalyzer

Y’all the poppy seed thing is not an urban legend or a myth.. I work at an addiction facility, and our counselors tell clients to avoid eating everything bagels because it could affect their test results.

Supposedly they adjusted the tests years ago raising the amount of opioids that needed to be in your system to throw a positive. This would have eliminated the risk of poppy seeds throwing a false positive.

If you eat food containing poppyseed, you can actually test positive on opioid for up to 3 days after eating 😂.
I saw this been tested on Mythbusters, so i had to test this by myself. I ate a couple of baguettes containing puppyseeds and took a opioid test. It was positive 😁.
Guaranteed they all had some form of intestinal distress after that...
