Wow, the memories. Thanks for posting. I remember this game. For its time, it was and still is a great fun game. This is back when graphics meant nothing. It was all about the fun factor. Something that today games are a lot of times missing. Today, companies are so worried about graphics that they forget that the game is just plain and at times boring with half the fun factor of these classics. Back then it was all about the bored/level you where able to reach or what was the highest score. :}
You are the diamond thing, you need to draw lines to close off areas of the screen and paint them in without getting hit by the Qix bouncing around or the sparks running on the lines.
what's going on at 6:45 ? you cut the wave in 2 ? didn't know you could pass though the "bad guy" if you no black pixel touches you. Is it like a glitch ?
URWIN Yes, TAS stands for tool assisted speedrun, meaning bots, ETC. The commands are pre-recorded. Because random events in the game (such as the movement of the QIX) are actually based on player action, commands that are predetermined will always give the same end result.
TAS runs never cease to surprise me. This one especially.
Het
Now that takes me back a ways. Qix was the first game I played on my game boy... good run.
Mario is a conceded bastard. He doesn't even let Peach stand in the middle of her own throne room!

Whoa, playing the game like a boss.
I used to have this game when I was a kid, but I think I lost it when I went to Hawaii one year.
