PACIFIC RIM BLACKOUT REVIEW (SPOILERS)
Lets take a look at the events leading up to the initiation of The Black, a last resort protocol that set up the events of Netflix animated spin-off Pacific Rim The Black.
It centers around professional legend Herc Hansen who we see take a beat down from an acid quill in the opening of The Black in his Jeager Stryker Berserker.

Another inconsistence: Frightcrawler's blood is red. Kaiju blue is a blue bioluminescence but this one is an exception.

This review was perfect! Alot of your positives and negatives were the same as my own in regards to the comic itself. Best pacific rim comic for me for sure BUT this comic does reveal something not even you probably noticed. Time for a TIME THEORY. A theory that has a likely chance of being true.
Okay so the comic states at one point herc was in the service for 25 to 30 years. Let's do the math here. Herc was born in 1980 so we simply just age him up every 10 years so by 1990 he was 10 by 2000 he was 20 and so on. So by the time herc joined the PPDC in 2015 he was approximately 35 years old around that time given that he was 30 years old five years earlier in 2010. Now skip forward 10 more years to 2025 and he's now 45 in the first movie which means he has been in the service for 10 years.
Skip forward another 10 ten years and you get uprising which is in 2035. By this point herc is 55 years old and has been in the service for 20 years. Now the comic states herc has been in the service for either 25 or 30 years so that's 2 potential dates of years there. If we go off by the 25 year mark then blackout is in 2040 and herc is 60 years old which means the anime itself is in 2045 since the anime takes place 5 years afterwards.
However if we go off by the 30 year mark then blackout is in 2045 herc is 65 years old and the anime is in 2050. This is of course speculation take it however you will but if this is true then that means it's been either 10 or 15 years since uprising in the pacific rim universe. Again great review loved it and I can't wait for your next pacific rim video.

I think it’s because of the kaiju breacher judging by their name I believe they are able to open up random breaches around them
