Только любовь и таинственные силы, заключенные в озере Байкал, спасут их всех. Ему помогает Дух Байкала (для которого Диана обеспечивает неземной голос). The boy lost his mother, she passed on and the boy was drowning in grief, he was lost mentally as much as physically because he was separated from his grandfather in a snowstorm.

Story of the film: Hoping to distract the boy from the loss of his mother, his father takes him to visit his grandfather for winter fishing. But they get caught in a snowstorm and get lost on the ice of the huge lake. The love and mysterious powers of Lake Baikal will help them overcome their grief and find each other. * Lake Baikal is a huge lake (seventh largest in the world) in Siberia in Russia near Mongolia and lies in a rift valley (growth approx. 2 cm/year). It is the deepest (1642 m/ 5387 ft) and oldest lake on earth (25 million years). It is over 620 km/385 miles long and is shaped like a giant crescent moon. In some places the lake is so wide (80 km) that you can no longer see the other shore.
The transparency and purity of the water is unique. Up to a depth of 40 m/131 ft one can see fish, green stones, plants. An incredibly rich and unique flora and fauna arose in and around Lake Baikal.
Baikal is also considered the largest freshwater reservoir in the world - its contents could supply all of humanity for 50 years. Over 300 rivers flow into the lake, but only one river, the Angara, originates from Lake Baikal.
People have lived in this area for more than 20,000 years and have believed in the powerful energy of the lake for thousands of years. Lake Baikal has always been one of the holiest places in Asia.
The local Buryats call “their” lake the “Sacred Sea”. One of the most famous personalities of Buryat descent was the Hollywood star Yul Brunner.
There are many legends surrounding Lake Baikal: a huge lightning bolt is said to have struck this part of the world and cut through the earth down to the groundwater. This water then flooded many valleys and mountains and became Lake Baikal.
An international team of researchers (led by the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History in Jena, Germany) has discovered the oldest connection to date between the inhabitants of Siberia and the Indians of North and South America. (www)

Мальчик потерялся ночью на льду озера Байкал.
У него нет сил и он лежит и замерзает.
Зимой, в сильный холод, чтобы не замерзнуть,
нужно непрерывно двигаться!
По преданиям озеро Байкал охраняет его дух.
Так вот этот дух видит замерзающего неподвижного
мальчика и решает спасти его.
Дух( в исполнении Дианы) предстает перед мальчиком
в образе его погибшей мамы и говорит мальчику,
что бы он двигался, иначе замерзнет насмерть!
Потом уже в образе духа Байкала, немного пугает
мальчика и он начинает двигаться- это его и спасает!
Наступает утро и мальчик выходит к берегу озера, там его и спасают взрослые, которые его ищут всю ночь!

So it is my understanding that this song is the title track for the movie "The Spirit of Bikal" in which a boy loses his mother and then his father takes him away to see his grandfather for a fishing trip or camping trip and they get seperated and the boy is trying to survive and find his way back Diana plays the spirit of the lake and she guides him to safety off of the lake thus why she pounded the ice to scare him in the direction of safety, I wish I knew more than this but that is the understanding I got from what I read of the movie. cant wait for the next ride as always your ride or die forever Eyyyy Ooooo. У мальчика умерла мама. Отец привёз его к дедушке. Дедушка и мальчик идут на озеро, где во время снежной бури мальчик потерялся. Ночь, сильный мороз, мальчик устал, ему страшно и холодно... Он вспоминает маму, плачет..
Хочет лечь и уснуть... но если он уснëт, то умрёт....
И вот дух Байкала ( в роли которого Диана) решает напугать мальчика, чтоб он не уснул и не погиб. Мальчик идёт всю ночь и утром его находят люди.
В основу фильма положена реальная история.

Прозрачный лед, немыслимые зимние причудливые пейзажи ....Байкальский ветер -главная особенность местного климата. с которым надо считаться.Случается, что иногда, в привычный зимний морозный день, даже небольшой зимний морозец способен превратиться в убийственную холодину..Казалось бы, стояло морозное спокойное утро и вдруг..внезапно налетел ветер..Да, такова природа Байкала.... а потому, все рыбаки и туристы благополучно отдохнувшие на просторах Байкала, благодарят величественное озеро за то, что он НЕ принес им беды...Такова традиция... многие туристы об этом осведомлены. ЗИМА не шутки!...Так случилось с этим мальчишкой и его дедом...Пошли на рыбалку. налетел внезапно Байкальский ветер, вьюга ,снег и мальчик потерялся...Мальчишка мог замерзнуть и погибнуть... На какие силы надеется бедному ребенку? Существует поверье, что духи предков, а в данном случае матери, помогут ребенку выжить. Ребенок невинное дитя. Байкал призывает дух недавно умершей матери помочь своему сыну, разбудить ребенка от морозного сна - от сна мороза и скорби , депрессии, активизировать его и бежать , бежать , бежать, пока он не увидит солнце!!!!...Бороться , карабкаться .двигаться.., но только не замерзать...... Вперед!!! Мать специально разбивает лед его сомнений! Она взывает его к движению...У него должна быть цель - выжить! Жить вообще!, Он получил эти силы...Льды обиды трескаются , он перешагнул через препятствия "холодных льдов" ! Вышел! Рассвет!!! И НОВАЯ, другая ЖИЗНЬ!...... , И Все ХОРОШО!!! Мальчик стал мужчиной и прожил еще долгую жизнь , а потом рассказал об этом случае своим внукам....А совсем недавно об этом сняли фильм............Посмотрите!!!!
