- Welcome to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Roulette! In this series @MBTYuGiOh and I each spin a wheel featuring every Secret Pack in Master Duel. We then build decks using 20 of only those Secret Packs before playing a Match to determine that episode’s winner. The winner of each episode gets to decide if they want the first or second Secret Pack from the wheel during the next episode, but they must choose before seeing what the second spin lands on! Can we talk about how insane the spins were this episode? Dzeeff gets Echo Chamber, an incredibly strong pack even in non-sealed, and then MBT gets, quite possibly, the only pack that both shuts down Tri-Brigade and doesn't play into Dogmatika's strengths. Like, what a spin
Idk, Echo pack is very mid in sealed imo. Like the dogmatica stuff doesnt really do anything without a good ed, and tri brigades are straight up worthless without shuraig or other good link 4 to climb into.

15:55 What MBT is saying is not true, the music only changes when you summon a card that has a summon animation in master duel. So you could summon something like Traffic Ghost bc it has an animation in master duel but something like slifer the sky dragon doesn't have an animation and doesn't trigger the music to change. They're called summon cut-ins in game and you can filter it in game to see which cards have a summon cut-in in master duel.
im pretty sure mbt knew that, he was only gaslighting doug like whe he tried to convinced doug that his turn 2 was turn one and there was no battle phase

Man, this totally didn't go how I expected, but in a good way. Turns out it was mostly Vendread vs. Dogmatika instead of Tri-Brigade vs. Zombie World.
If I had a nickel for every series MBT won today with Vendreads.......

I got 2 Minerva and I put it on my Impcantation Megalith because I have no good Extra in this new account. The best thing is, Minerva save me too and she mill the best card.

I looking for ritual spell with my Candoll, but it negated by Impermanence. So, I Xyz to Minerva and mill 3 cards. Luckily, I mill 1 Impcantation ritual spell while I only have 1 copy of that card. That's very satisfying.

Tbh I don't think Tribrigade was the play, even without pulling Exblower I think springan just trying to turbo out captain sargas as a beater would've done much better.
Edit: I just checked the springans cards to make sure and captain sargas has much less attack than I thought he had but I still thinking summoning in def to stall until he draws his Dogmatikas to beat down with fleur would still be better
Whenever I used to play against Vendread on Duel Links when randos played it during the Harpies era I was baffled it wasn't a better deck, because, like, it's a special kind of hell you're in when you realize Vendread is legitimately just eating your entire board and there's jack you can do about it in a world without negates. You can draw an instant removal spell I guess but who really plays those these days

No one knows how to read, but Doug is more consistent in his inability to read since he misses things in both this AND Saga every week.

Missing an effect in a vacuum isn’t a big deal, it happens to everyone. Doug it feels like it happens constantly. Which adds up

You should do a special episode where both of you spend like 3000-4000 gems on Normal Packs.
40:10 slayer(The link 2 that sends a zombie in damage calc) is a UR
and it deserves the UR status, since it sends for cost. It's also the only reason why I don't immediatly surrender when facing skill drain.
Doomking does not fuck about, the moment MBT pulled the 3 Banshee, Zombie World, and the Doomking himself it was over.
I usually root for Doug to win these but when I saw MBT had only Minerva in his ED I changed sides.
I mean the issue is doug's pack is absolute piss in sealed. Tri-Brigade does nothing without the ED (mainly Shuraig who is an ultra) and the same can be said for Dogmatika. He's freaking out when pulling Punishments and I'm just thinking "but like Punishment send what?"
The only reason Tri-Brigade did anything in Saga is Farfa could throw crafts at it and also had a functioning side engine with Lyrilliscs.
the issue was tribrigade/dogma needs to pull far more high rarity cards to be playable than zombies, you only need the 1 doomking while you need every link monster for tribrigade to function.
also help those low rarity vendread cards are lowkey kinda cracked
Mbt was right for once, the music does change for a few when you play one of your best cards. I know from when I was on master duel

Haven't watched the whole thing yet, just caught the wheel spin, but this one should be rather interesting seeing as Zombie World makes the entire Tri-Brigade engine crap itself 😅 if MBT pulls decent this one will be rough for Douge.
