It is ALWAYS good to see individual videos from Kai and Lok but doubly so when you are together. I have followed you both since early DRTV days and loved everything you have done. And I am still grateful to Lok for his original video on the X-Pro2 when he visited the factory, as I bought one based on that video and have loved the camera ever since. Merry Christmas to you both, and to your families.
Too bad DigitalRev has taken down that video, in fact everything in the whole DRTV+ channel😭
This is one of those videos that have no value other than to watch the two of you banter. Brilliant.
The view outside that window reminds me of a depressing weekend, Sundays in particular (no cartoons on at all), at my grandmothers house, in the mid 1990's.
BUT The two of you were wonderful, bright and fun!

Ironically the most competitive category this year was laziest camera manufacture. Where as smartphones compete to see who can give you the most tech for your money the camera industry is all about how they find the most desirable features and put them only in the high end cameras and dangle them in front of consumers, while offering old tech they haven't improved in like 3-5 years for their lower lines. Basically they're fine with only selling high end high profit margin cameras and concede everything else to smartphones. /rant

Ah! The worst worst/best of 2021. Oh! The new Olympus camera…EP 7? Where is it? No view finder? Was it supposed to be a TG 7? Available in Asia? Europe? South Pole? I think I’ll switch to Pentax.
Pentax should try and make a SLR-looking mirrorless FF camera. They have so much history

2021 has been pretty disappointing when it comes to new products for the avg. consumers
not everyone has £thousands to be spending on these flagship cameras. :(
It feels like we've been forgotten about :/
Luckily when companies spend a lot of R&D on big, powerful high end flagships a lot of that tech tickles down to the less expensive models over the next year or two.

Honestly, I just got the iPhone 13 Pro and the jpegs are astounding. Previously, I had an iPhone 7 for many years. My "real" camera is a Nikon D610 and I have to say that the images coming off of the iPhone 13 Pro sensor are on par and their jpeg rendering is so good that the images need little, if any, post-processing. Yeah, I'm convinced that consumer level cameras are on their last breath. Even something like the Fuji X100 series, why would I need one if my phone is capable of superb images. If I ever get a new camera, it will be when true medium format costs as much as my D610 did when it came out.

Sorry, the iPhone 12/13 pro is the best street photography camera. Images are on par and it's way more "stealthy."
