Day 56 | Most Photographed Spot on the AT | Appalachian Trail 2024

- On day 56, I hiked about 17 miles from Four Pines Hostel to a shelter on the south side of Tinker Cliffs. Today was an amazing day hiking up to McAfee Knob and seeing the stunning views from there and Tinker Cliffs!

Virginia doesn't get enough credit for its views, but I think the Triple Crown overlooks are some of the best on the Trail -- definitely for the stretch between Tennessee and New Hampshire. I am glad you got a decent weather day to see the views and also to have secure footing on all the rocks. Another major milestone!
