2024 Zero-fee Teaching IQA update and step by step instructions| For Secondary Teachers only

- The 2024 Zero-fee Teaching IQA in New Zealand will open on 29 January 2024 at 9:00 AM (NZT)
For the 2024 update, NZQA announced that they will only be accepting secondary school teachers applications only.

@@captainglobal1. Just Incase u know, the zero fee assessment has ended for now. But if u still need to go ahead, just know uou would be paying 746nzd.

Certificate
Passport data page to create an acc
Practicum certificate (teaching practice)
Certificate of employment or evidence of teachers registration

hello po. LPT po ako, English major for Secondary level po. Pero po ang naging experience ko lang po dito sa Vietnam ay kindergarten po for 7 years na po now. May chance po kaya ako for a positive assessment? ok lang po sakin maging ECE or kindergarten pa rin sa NZ or secondary is also okay po

I want to file zero fee application which is now limited for secondary teachers,i have m.ed with practicum in secondary teaching but now I am currently employed as a ECE teacher, do i fit the current employment status and teaching level eligibility?
Basically the zero fee or even the paid Teaching IQA focus more on the education qualification of an applicant. If you have qualifications that meets the requirements for secondary education then you can apply for the zero fee assessment which is on Monday, 23 March. The teaching experience comes as supporting requirements
And what is the case with WES, I've found some mentions around the comments that WES is highly recommended, why is that so, when NZQA itself assesses independently its own? Why to pay for both, can't do with either?
@@sheer42 if you can only visit the NZQA website, you will find out there that they are actually requiring a third party verification, which one of it is WES among others

What you need to submit to qualify for a zero-fee teaching IQA is a teacher registration from your country, if you don’t have this, you should be currently employed as a school teacher
