Groot's son was somehow able to remember his dad's last heroic act before he was born🥺😢😭 which makes this drawing far more deep and personally emotional he never knew his dad yet somehow his last memory before he wilted was this one... To think that this has been transcend to his offspring is just incredible and heartbreaking and wrenching to say the least because he never knew his dad his biological one and only has Rocket as his stable family relationship model...
My headcanon is one of the other guardians (Pete or Gamora most likely) told baby Groot about og Groot and how he saved everyone. Makes me wonder how much Groot ii canonically knows about his bio dad…

Groot should get his series spin-off with longer episodes because those less than 4 minutes are definitely not enough. It's cute and fun, and "I am Groot" disarms me every time. It's nice that they did it in the style of the Czechoslovakian series "Neighbors" - these were also very short episodes, they did not say anything there and they went to laugh with Pat and Mat 😂 Oh and it reminded me Mr Bean somehow too!
