Commentator having an absolute laugh referring to Estupiñán's awful dive at 5:28 as a fall! The man was looking for a penalty in a different post code and should've got booked.
That's what the commentator said though. He doesn't have to say "dive" for fuck's sake." He was already falling as he was expecting the touch". And that's exactly what happened. LMAO.
maybe Seagulls 3rd team. Charlton full strength. Charlton played well to be fair. Deserved the win. Hope they go far, I'd like to see Brighton get into Europe 🌍.
Wonderfull Save From Jason Steele + Adam Lallana Missed + Moises Caicedo, Pascal Gross, Leandro Trossard Failed Penalty Goal. Brighton & Hove Albion Defeat Againts Charlton Athletic In The Valley Stadium After Penalty Shoutout Score By 0-0 (Penalties 4-3). The remarkable, very curious things, little incidents that regularly happen at The Valley. It's been a place of intriguing happenings, throughout the decades.
It shows that in front missing key goals to avoid coming to penalties. Coach must work setting up plays to shoot from outside the 18 and look for more inside passes . March had it and missed . Top players missed and 2nd goalies good as back up .
What is it with March - lovely guy, quick, good footballer, great crosser, but he cannot score goals - why doesn't he give up trying and pass the bloody thing.
Frankly, as a lifelong Charlton fan, this result annoys the hell out of me. We defended well and played like we actually believed we could get a result - one way or another - throughout the game. If Seagulls fans had any idea how bad Charlton have been all season, having surrendered leads and dropped points on at least ten occasions this season, often in the last ten miinutes of matches and even stoppage time, you would know where I'm coming from. A team as good as Brighton should never have allowed a penalty shoot out to open the door for us. I can only think your team thought they couldn't possibly lose. Now we go to Old Trafford for a competition that I suspect is being set up for Manchester United to win (they REALLY need a trophy.... any trophy...). Wny do I think this...? Look at the draw being held. With the balls being placed in an open bowl that those drawing them can easily see the one they're putting their hand on, Dion Dublin, Owen Hargreaves and Mary Earps (Manchester United women's team goalkeeper) have drawn United, at home, firstly against Burnley, and now Charlton, whereas City and Liverpool were drawn against each other, thus meaning one of their primary opponents would be out of the competition, and with Chelsea and Arsenal already gone,....... Make your own minds up about that. Now we are to be the sacrificial lambs for their soft passage into the semis. But anyway.... We got away with one in this game. We need to commit to the rest of the season like we did tonight. Wishing you guys the best of luck for the rest of this season. Do me just one favour, please. Beat Crystal bloody Palace.
bruh was a neutral watching this game and seeing all the possession and chances they missed i just felt like running onto the pitch to score for them😐 Don't really see charlton advancing with the way they played unless something special happens
When you're the only non-premier league team left in the competition, and Manchester United are drawn out first, and Mary Earps (Of Manchester United women) draws the next ball from a wide open bowl that can easily be seen into, and which allows the person drawing the ball to see the numbers before she puts her hand in, you just know you're coming out next. And we did. Sacrificial lambs for United's easy progress into the semis.
@@trevorJackson-zl2jj 🤣well to be fair i have watched a lot of football so anything is possible tbh they just have to try and take the game to extra time or score on the counter
The reason why we lost in this match was that the pitch condition was bad and Brighton's players' individual skills did not work. Mitoma, who came out in the second half, was not able to turn sharply due to the poor pitch condition. Even so, we showed good cooperation everywhere, but in the end we were unable to score a goal and lost in the penalty shootout. I would like the team to focus on the league match and aim for the European Cup, rather than a disappointing result.

don't think de zerbi is to blame here mate, they created a million and a half chances but nobody buries it. when it went to pens, it's up to the players. with that penalties, i'd say de zerbi deserves to murder all of em lmao

Win against Arsenal 3-1: 👍
Lose to Charlton: 👍
and win against chelsea 😂
Just like a team from Brasil called “Sport Club Internacional” lose to smaller teams and win against the big ones
Loses to Middlesbrough next year
100% fixed game
Tremendous 0-0. Charlton were brilliant but Brighton probably won't be that unlucky for the rest of the season.
You’d think this talented team could of managed more than 2 shots on goal to a league 1 side even tho Charlton were underestimated
BBC shows 18 shots 6 on target!

Was a penalty on Undav but they would probably have missed it anyway!

There is only one Albion and that is WEST BROMWICH ALBION.
YOU REDDDSSSSSSSSS, Charlton, the giant killers
One question, How?
Shocking performance and as for the pens a bloody disgrace
Imagine playing with Messi, Di Maria and Alvarez and going back to england to play with Enciso and Undav 🥴
From World Cup winner to defeat to league 1 team funny old game
Brighton could have advance if MWC winner Mac Allister joined in but nevertheless, there's another year.
How bad must Solly feel this morning?
Why still let March to take the penalty?
