Random LoL streamer is also using that excuse modern day (by the way, by that I just mean 'currently' and the current excuse, I'm not referring to some allusive political climate as if it is ever okay to sexualize a child) DESPITE the obvious paper trail and track record. The problem with pedophiles is that they think it's okay and defendable to be a pedophile, it's never their fault even if they "take responsibility" they'll usually downplay it. Notice that they take issue with it but would love to carry on as though they've most definitely changed--even though they look back at it and call it close enough in their head. Random LoL streamer can easily ramble about pushing their sexualized conduct onto a 16-year-old but only spends a couple seconds talking about a 13-year-old. The most they can do for themselves is say they'd "never do such a thing" because mounted evidence is contrary to their word, as in, they're provably wrong so the most they can do is ask you to trust they wouldn't do that. That attitude is actually the same attitude that's applied when attacking a victim, they just don't want to be seen a certain way while acting entirely in that exact way.
