I found the other translation of his speech to be more touching, it was "I feel proud of being your partner, and you're a really incredible setter!" it sounds simple, to the point and the most sincere of his feelings towards Oikawa, the latter is even rendered speechless. I love their friendship so much, knowing that they've been bestfriends since pratically infants, and now they're going separate ways for college definitely guarantees to make most fans emotional. Thank you so much for reacting to this again, Jacob and Caleb! Now onwards to season 3!!!!!
I genuinely wish oikawa gets the hinata luck, in which he finds out that he is in the same university as ushiwaka. That will be epic, the look on oikawa's face and ushiwaka will be priceless.
I dont think thats luck... I honestly think he'll hate it. "You should have come to shiratorizawa"... thats what ushiwaka said. But not because he thinks well of Oikawa (he does think well of him but thats not why he said it). Its because he thinks its a waste of Oikawa's skill to not be serving for HIM. Because if your not serving for him, your against him, and in his mind there's no universe Oikawa succeeds with him as their enemy. Oikawa despises that line of thinking. He wants to prove he can tear down the elites with hard work, and will stubbornly stick to his guns to do so. THAT is Oikawa. He would play with Ushiwaka and they might even win 10/10 times. But Oikawa wouldn't be happy. I can think of one way Oikawa works with him. If there was a University team with genius level players so good, even Ushiwaka's unsure of himself. And suddenly its an "enemy of my enemy" situation. But even then, Oikawa would probably have mixed feelings about the team-up. Just my opinion.

I'm so happy you guys reacted to this, because it's honestly amazing. And you guys mentioned how the three years together won't just disappear but keep in mind that Oikawa and Iwaizumi have probably played volleyball with each other or at the very least new each other for at least around 10 years (since kageyama did mention in season 1 that they've played together since elementary). That will surely hit you in the feels even harder. Oh! also the thing about Aoba Johsai not being the same is interesting. If you don't already know, the next setter AND captain for them will be Yahaba (the cinnamon puff that slammed mad dog against the wall) as his current concern is about filling Oikawa's shoes. As for the Ace, I personally think that Kyotani would fill in that spot. He's the only 2nd year Wing spiker (that is shown to play) and the only other wing spiker we've seen that's not a third year is Kunimi. Kindaichi is a possibility, but he's a middle blocker so that's a bit of a stretch. I definitely see it by his third year though. Although the team will never be the way it was without Oikawa, Iwaizumi, dead inside meme boys Hanamaki and Matsukawa and the other three, I think Seijoh will still be pretty damn interesting with these two stepping up. I can already imagine the banters between them (that we will probably never get to see T-T). But then again, just a theory with Kyotani. This also goes with all teams. The next generation captain line up is definitely interesting ((Canon ones: Ennoshita, Yahaba, Futakuchi (Dateko), Terushima (Johzenji), And my assumptions but not really canon ones i think: Akaashi (he's already v. captain so it makes sense), Yamamoto (since kenma probably doesn't want to) and i won't mention Shiratorizawa yet )) Anyways keep it up! Just so you know,there are more extra scenes from both the next but also from the first season, in the first,4 extra scenes,karasuno repairing the broken mop once asahi has come back,an extended flashback for kuroo and kenma childhood and friendship,the aftermath of the first match against dateko seen from dateko pov,a slightly extended version of the middle school flashback between kageyama and oikawa and then from the third season the aftermath of the shiratorizawa game from their pov. As you seem to not be 100% on the context, this comes from the movie. Haikyuu's seasons were made into some theatrical movies. As far as I know, there's very little new content except for the endings to the last two, being this scene here, and an extra scene at the end of Season 3.
