Established as Manila Trade School in 1901 to Philippines School of Arts and Trades in 1910. Converted as Philippines College of Arts and Trades in 1959, and elevated in 1978 as the Technological University of the Philippines.
The College of Engineering is a recipient of COD status from CHED (Center of Development) The College produces not just total quality engineers and professionals, but also produces world-class valuable technology researches for industry and society.

Wow ang laki ng Pinag-bago ng TUP, Ang daming bagong Buildings, yung Architecture And Fine arts building ay 2 floors lang at luma pa, nasa tabing ng River,, ang gusto diyan yung Round open Field grass playground , diyan ang ROTC drill namin. Glad na malaki ang improvements. I was called PCAT when I started my school then converted to TUP. Ang course ko ay Drafting Technology.....
