Regarding the opponent only chipping in at the Eternal Wanderer: Due to its static ability, only one creature can attack it. They were hitting it as hard as they could.

In the game against Crokeyz, Saffron waits literally 12 turns too late to play the portal, at which point it's not even good anymore. It was kinda interesting to watch him start playing commander and sandbagging everything to do fun stuff instead of just winning. And he keeps saying "what a grind!' even though he could have won instantly like 10 turns earlier but that would have been less fun.
I started fast forwarding that game after reading your comment. Holy crap it was killing me to watch it just sit in his had as he drew over and over again just to discard to hand limit. Like I get that it feels great to draw cards but sometimes you need to just play the 9 mana bomb!
surprised seth didn't use the touch the spirit realm to flicker portal to phyrexia in that last game - making them sac 6 more would probably be pretty good lol

That Crokeyz game was RIDICULOUS!!! So much fun to watch! People are seriously sleeping on Atraxa. People have been SO down on her because she isn’t her previous version. But she is absolutely the full package!
I am still amazed there is NO way to deal with poison counters.
It's going to be on a ton of decks, and probably some tournament decks as well.

In constructed, I'm loving poison. I have a lot of decks that survive, stabilize and then start to take over. I'm finding that I can sprinkle toxic in, and sneak wins on that side. I fight so many life gain decks and picking up a win while they have their big angels out and 30+ life is great.

Hey Seth I have a pretty sweet GW tokens build (mostly white, just splashing G for a couple key support cards that allow a power boost). And I must say, Mondrak is legit the real deal especially with Rabble Rousing

I was surprised not to see the cappena sac lands in this deck because it doubles up your fetches! Great video however, keep it up Seth!
It actually doesn't work that way, unfortunately. The way the lands are worded, you only go fetch if you sacrifice the land. Elesh Norn will trigger the etb twice, but because you can't sacrifice the land when the second trigger resolves (because you sacrificed it when the first trigger resolves), you won't be able to get a second fetch.

There's a really weird tension with those lands though, in order to make the double trigger work, and to reliably have basics to fetch out, you have to play way more basics - which means you have to play way less dual lands, which makes your 5C mana base extremely awkward.
In a 3C version I think it would be way more feasible to make the mana work with the sac lands.

Don't know if this had made a difrense but at (29:23) you could have used the the eternal wanderer to exile the ichormoon gauntlet. It would have come back during the opponents endphase so jace coudn't polifirate.

I have a pretty fun against the odds style best of 3 deck I have been using to climb the ladder from gold 4 to plat 3. Going on 2.
MonoMountain Rakdos. It has pretty good tech against all three of the toxic decks on the ladder, was about to beat out the phyrexian obliterater fight deck twice including going down to no lands. And an amazing time against esper control and superfriends. Monoblack has been the hardest match up, but I've got a pretty positive win rate so far. It plays aggro but can swap to late game control. Not sure how to submit it to you guys.

Elesh Norn is obviously amazing, but a huge takeaway from this video is The Eternal Wanderer is insane. I think she’s even better than we saw here, because it’s so tempting to go for blink value sometimes it might get lost that the best thing to do is often to get a 2/2 double striker

One card that I would love to see in a blink Elesh Norn deck is Preston the Vanisher. Make more tokens and more etbs!

Watching this deck makes me realize that even when the deck is built to make the most of it, the wanderer is absolutely worse than a farewell
It's really hard to stream and play, people have noted that in person seth is an extremely good player. Streaming causes you to have to split your thoughts and makes you make mistakes.
"The Eternal Wanderer is absurd with Elesh Norn" just feels weird. LIke pairing Bog Glider with Defiant Falcon.

Reaction to 30:05 : I wonder if that fact might *finally* push a poison change to commander. When poison isn't just "pump your infect creature to oneshot someone" and becomes "give everyone a poison counter and relaxedly proliferate them out of the game".
That last game was actually a commander game.

Leyline binding for [w] exiling two things at instant speed feels like cheating xD
The new contagious vorrac might be better than stomper for this deck.
While it only gets you the land in hand it can get nonbadics and unlike stomper it can be used to block/attack imideately.
I think Panharmommycon is the best name.

Considering the body, effect on all permanent ETBs and how much more common artifact and permanent removal became over the years I venture to say MOM is better than the original.
New one is very very good but never underestimate how brutal the global -2/-2 is
