- In todays video we are in Whitworth Cemetery visiting the graves of Sophie Lancaster & her mum Sylvia.
Sophie was violently attacked while out walking with her boyfriend Robert.
While Robert was knocked unconcious, she was trying to protect/sheild him from further injury but was herself attacked by a gang of teenage boys who inflicted catastrophic head injuries leading to her death in hospital 13 days later.
Robert survived his injuries.
Sylvia, Sophies mother is also buried alongside her daughter, She was recognised with an OBE for her campaign work.
Thanks so much for sharing this video I live quie near the cemetery and me and my best friend Sarah went to visit and put some flowers down for Sophie and her mum I was absolutely devastated and heartbroken 💔 god bless you Sophie louise lancaster dear lord she'd ur love and care amen x

Honestly, stuff like this sickens me Lee. If there was every a reason for the death penalty, this crime would be one. The poor girl had her whole life to look forward to. So tragic.

Sophie louise was a very beautiful lady with her whole career she was going to study a English degree at college she was with Robert Maltby 3 years he was a art student hod bless sending hugs and kisses and love ❤❤❤❤❤
