It's truly refreshing to see a company that aspires to make something truly unique. This is such a fresh perspective on an instrument that, apparently, many companies feel just can't be re-thought, re-designed, or re-imagined. This a company with confidence in their vision, and a great vision it is. I see a bright future for these guys. I have wait listed myself for both of their (hopefully soon to be) available models. Thanks for the great video!
Great video!! I actually own one myself, and your right it's not easy to purchase one. I was on the waiting list for 6 months, but DEFINITELY worth the wait!!
I like seeing watch brands take a chance on an original design. Very interesting watch and looks to be a very well made watch as well that would be fun to own.
The back is mineral glass. The sweeping curves of the case are inspired by the Indiana dunes lakeshore and the curved back is inspired by the bean sculpture in Chicago. Phil the designer and founder of Visitor watch grew up in Northwest Indiana hence the inspirations for the design. I got mine along with the bracelet and love it. On the wait list for the Vale Park Officer :)
This look like a Diesel watch I use to owned in High School..the clasp is awesome . I would be more awesome if they add another small watch dial on the clasp, kinda of like gmt function.
The duneshore is a really great piece on videos and photos. However, I was kinda underwhelmed when it finally arrived. The case shape is theoretically comfortable but feels weird when worn. At the same time, the finishing on the watch head was a bit rough e.g. crown screws. Proceeded to sell it away, after waiting for a few months on the waitlist. But as the saying goes, different folks different strokes. Go ahead and grab one if you fancy it.
Wild looking watch! This is what one should expect from micro brands. They don't make movements do are able to focus their energies and creativity on the exterior. As you so ably point out, the dial and hands are executed to a very high standard. And that case is a modern rendition of the 60's and 70's. It will be one that a collector will want.
Beautiful piece, love the dial color and hand setup! Would put some more lume down the hands its hard to tell the time from the lume shot, Like the bracelet but that clasp looks like it would be very uncomfortable and just not my thing but many might really dig it! Bruce, all in all it was a very good review!!
I like that Phil really goes out there and comes up with very unique designs as opposed to say, creating the 127th Submariner homage. I just wish he was a little more consistent. The Calligraph Linden and Duneshore Shallows were both super cool designs that were killed before ever making actual production. Only the Vale Park Officer actually made it to market as a new design, and that watch has some significant flaws.
I like a l lot about this . Bit big for my tastes but a breath of fresh air . I’m so bored with ubiquitous dive watches that pretty much all look the same ..
While I like the shape of the watch, the unrelenting polished finish is just... Ugh. It is like the excessive 'chrome' here is like a kitsch custom Cadillac Eldorado for Elvis. One thing in a watch I don't like is pretension, and this screams pretension.
Amazing and beautiful, if only it was smaller for my riny wrists

Nice!
What a uniquely stunning watch. Well done!

It's really nice to see some originality in this design. There are too many copycats out there. Very cool.

I don't particularly like it, but I do appreciate it, if that makes any sense. Lots of design for the dough.
I get that! Thanks James
The more i look at it the more I like it. Thank you for showing.👍

Looks just mind-blowing > stunning to the effect desired !!!

You, sir, are prolific! Always great reviews. Not a bad watch
Thanks!

I want this so bad. Blue dial if they ever bring it back. If they bring it back I'll think I'll sell my Tudor and pick one up. Too funky!
A lumed date wheel??
Steel straps will be on sale again
I've been on a wait list for at least 6 months and just got an email the other day, and I'm no longer interested so there might be one up for grabs.
Very cool looking watch indeed!
I've wanted one of these for two years. Im on the waiting list but who knows if i'll ever be so lucky.
Yup, this is cool and very unique.
So cool!
Visitor makes some killer watches. Great video.
Yeah that's the second one I've seen. I love the dials
Great timepiece
Note: on their website visitor has this watch in a black dial and navy blue dial which I think brings this design to the next level!
Those do look very good
I agree with you on every point. Wish it was smaller or my wrists were bigger be better. Like fine art !!
Very original even if I would not buy it

Mind sharing some of those flaws?
Awesome!!!!
Sorry Bruce, beauty is in the eye of the beholder this is ugly
Ugliness is in the eye of the beholder as well :)
owww really nice

Looms
a lot of calligraphy nibs have a circle at their tip.
if it were smaller this would be a beautiful women's watch. love the style, but the size...
I didn't know Liberace had a watch.
