In this video, I share some insight into how I use the media screens on my Jason Jani custom DJ booth. As a DJ, I use Media Screens to help enhance the overall experience of my weddings and parties. This experience has been developed over time with my team, and become part of some of the ways I try to enhance the DJ service at a wedding with interactive media content. If you have any questions, please let me know in the comments and please be sure to like, share and show some love in this video.

Thank you for sharing the info Jason, I use my the screen on my DJ booth to showcase the custom monogram and ahead of time I ask the couple to send me their engagement photos and I display those on the screen during the reception. I havent done content from the day of the event but I will look into doing that as well. Thank you for the knowledge.

    Curious your thoughts on projectors.

Super Dope! Your booth is definitely Goals! I love incorporating visuals too! I did a Brazilian Quinceanera and a lot of her friends were American so when I played the Brazilian music I had the choreography video with it so even the ppl that didn't know the music could follow along and it kept the dance floor going which I probably would have lost most of the dance floor! Came in so Clutch! Thanks for sharing how you rock your booth! I'm a gear nerd so a in depth gear video would be dope!

    Love your ideas amigo.
I recently setup my electric drum kit through midi and am having a blast! I haven't used it for a show yet simply because I'm not ready. Mapping and dmx setup has proven to be complex when it comes to having midi activate certain lights.
I'm really curious if you have some thoughts on projectors. I'm looking for the most simplistic/budget setup to start seeing what visuals can do for the venue I DJ in house for.
Also, lighting ideas have been here and there. I wish there was some way to interact live with other DJ's via camera/mic so they could share what they're working on if they choose.

At $4500+, those Toadmatic 55s aren’t in a lot of DJ budgets, and they will be disappointed when they find that out especially with you showing such a clean look. They could literally be made for less that a quarter of their price if someone knew what they were doing.

Like many things in life, people using dont take the action to do things even if they have the information in front of them. I will say, that Toad has truly mastered the booth stuff after doing it for years, and he really has a super solid product.

How do you build this booth and can you show a step by step of how you program something like thats like baseline usage. Love this feature, it’s not very present in my market (MA, NH, VT, ME). There’s lots of gimmicky things that I believe will fizzle out ( like dancing on the clouds)… but this booth is truly the thing that will have impact and staying power that makes it a worthwhile thing to invest resources. Appreciate the content

Very good video! Do you have a video or a manual on how you built your booth using 80/20 extrusion with a TV screen? Thank you

    I have a embarrassing question…….
I understand part of the Dj service and important one is be a master of ceremony…… I have equipment, I know play music, I have music, but…… be M of C I never did well, I get nervous, feel like I cannot found the words, and my English is not perfect, is valid if I found help with other person?

Our results will always be directly proportional to our effort. It takes work and it takes practice. Very few of us start out as amazing emcees. In fact, I believe most DJs started out closer to introverts. Practice in the mirror. Practice on your family and friends. Write cue cars and scripts ahead of time that you can refer to while you’re emceeing. Personality isn’t taught. It’s developed.
