Great video. I'm thinking of trying out Stringjoy acoustic strings. Do you know if they make flat wound or a half round acoustic set?

please explain me why F#13b9 is IV7?

Thanks for your question. F#13b9 is used for two reasons. One it’s not a sub for IV7 but rather a passing chord back to I7 (notice how it’s always used as a way to get back to I7). People usually play C7 C#dim7 | G7 . The F#13b9 is also a sub for the C#dim7. It also works because the top note of the voicing G also is the top note of G13 (common tone harmonization). Hope this helps!

Very good lesson 😊 Do you thought doing a tune per month were you teach the melody, chord melody, comping and improv for that standard? It would be super 😊 Thank you so much

As an artist Patreon is obvious great for you, however, as the consumer, the guy who wants to buy your product Patreon, in my experience, is the greatest inhibitor of music advancement.

Hi mick yea Patreon makes it possible for me to make these videos. Without it it would not be feasible. However you don’t have to subscribe to get the guitar pro or PDF. Each post can be purchased for a one time fee! If you have trouble finding it, simply search the name of the video in the Patreon search bar and it will show up :)
