Minor world building spoiler! It turns out the music in the game is all diegetic music because your fairy companion uses magic to beam it into your mind and motivate you with different music in different situations. And music is considered the earliest form of magic.
@@Buffypoodle Music is the first publicly known magic while archetypes are unknown even though they are the backbone behind their existence itself. It ties into how archetypes operate in Shin Megami Tensei
The language used in their battle themes was Esperanto, if i remember right. It was a language originally intended as a unified language for the EU but that idea was scrapped in the end. That feeling of unity feels on point, for the game 😁
The most interesting part of the alternating phase of the threatening vocal phase and triumphant horn phase is mostly based on player condition in game. Since it is disadvantage theme, enemy will most likely had 1st turn and timestamp wise you will be at the threatening vocal phase. once enemy done attacking and you survive long enough, triumphant horn phase kick in. Granted all happened if you play the game normally instead linger to hear the music doing nothing.
OMG ! = That's exactly what you say when you get hit and start the battle with disadvantage hearing this music and you're probably going to reopen the game due to playing on hard mode
it's ironic because while this theme will play during some mid-bosses, you mostly hear when you get fucked up early on, and those triumphant horns will EXACTLY when you realize how fucked you are.
Formidable Foe is another track I’d recommend you check out in terms of battle themes, but for an exploration theme, I’d recommend Potential Spoilers ⚠️ Face of the Palace. It’s SO GOOD!
The image this battle theme always conjures in my head is a deadly tribal war dance/chant. The advantage theme does the same, but the war dance is much more aggressive and confident.
Many people joke that the chant sounds like a rap, that the dude singing is spitting facts and all. How about you two relax a little and laugh at a joke sometimes instead of insulting people? Life is better that way.

I thought More said Archetypes were the original form of magic?
Gallica is our little music player, I love it 😅

I actually prefer this theme more than the advantage theme, mostly because of the chorus.
Me too! It's so grand and heroic like you can beat the odds
I love that the Atlus albums also come with a free videogame.

Fantazio just deserves AT LEAST best music award at the game awards. The best RPG of the year award too

I was gonna say you only here this music when your in the deepest sht😂
I heard that the “rap” is actually just a monk chanting and it just fit too well. Don’t know how true it is but I love that idea.
Yep, this is a real monk chanting in Esperanto
It is in fact the chief Monk at Myoji temple chanting in Esperanto
They even brought out the monk who did this to perform it live. Find the video on Atlustube
You can see him chanting while some people are doing some metaphor cosplay in an event
He is sitting in the middle

This game is filled with an insanely high quality OST. You HAVE to listen to the Akademia Theme, it's absolutely fantastic.

Yea lol, it's disrespectful to call this track that way
