1/300 was all I had to hear. That’s one thing that sets me apart if our school were to rank then I’ll be like at the bottom. Because I didn’t say amount of people that have like 3.9 unweighted
Do you think a low gpa will immediately cancel my chances? I am an international student and we don’t have a 4.0 system but I have about 94-95 average for my highschool, I am taking IB. But there are other students in my school that also want to apply to Yale who have better scores than me. I am probably at top 10 out of 180, but I am scarred to try my chances. My ecs are good, but I never thought I would be able to apply to Yale, but after doing an extensive research, I feel I really do belong to Yale. It. Is my dream school, what do you think I should do? And also I am going to a very expensive private school, with an academic scholarship, and I don’t have that much many to spend on counselors. I am going to be working with a doctor, doing internship with a medicine company, and research during the summer, so I thought I would get ready for my essays during summer as well. I am just so regretful and sad that I didn’t maintain top scores during my years and missed my chances.
I'm actually competing in the Virtual Business Challenge this year for DECA. Do you have any tips? I have no clue what the event is about, but I went to ICDC last year for ESB start-up business plan.
I've strongly good extra-curriular & honors with international awards received from UN, UNICEF, British Airways, but have a just nahhh sat score, 1410. So should I test optional?
@@Rickrossbesty Well, that's not necessarily how it works. It's all holistic. Someone with a 1300 who's homeless might be just as great as someone with a 1570+ who comes from a well-off background, so it all depends.
@@tdpencil2811 i’m not saying he’s 100% going to get in cause nothing is 100% i just said it because SAT scores aren’t all that matters so regardless of ur score you could still have a chance
@@Rickrossbesty true but unfortunately his sat is below the 25 - 75% benchmark for most of these top schools. His ECs might compensate but why take the chance?

if u have a good story which u can use to craft a nice essay, and if ur ecs are impactful then take a chance!
