Watch closely Brian gave him the strap pin. He said the strap was lose, and that shocked him. I think he lost focus and gave that round up then. We'll never know for sure though. Unless we see them in straps again some day. One pin in straps. Isn't enough times to say that person will always win in straps.
Bro you're right brian was smart to not keep fighting once he got to know that eddie was in the advantageous position in the strap and was close to pinning him
Or maybe it's the other way around and everyone overhyped Brian, especially Devon, before Brian had even beaten anyone. Along comes match day and he struggles with Eddie Hall. Sure Eddie is strong too. But Brian has 6 months of serious training as opposed to Eddie's 6 weeks, Brian has a lot more leverage, a much bigger hand and outweighs Eddie by 30 kgs. Getting pinned that one time in the straps 4 seconds after the go immediately killed the hype. He would never be able to live to the expectations when there were people who genuinely believed he could beat Levan right now.
Eddie is actually really strong too. Don't know why everyone is underrating him so much
Probably the fact that Brian is very recently retired, making the strength gap more obvious

I like how Brian got pinned once and everyone is overhyping Eddie and putting Brian down 😂😂

I agree Brian looked pretty dominant in hos pins. Yes, Eddie did great but it's overshadowing how great Brian did imp
Hall is a loudmouth tool
