I am a student nurse and watch all your videos, the way you explain is fantastic. The last few days my HR has been 128-137 where normally around 70 for me, chest pains, light headedness, short of breath and a general “off” feeling.. so I went to the doctors yesterday and they did an ECG and said I have a RBBB.... I knew I could find Information about this on your channel. Thank you for helping me understand my condition in more depth.... now to just see what / how for me to live with it!
my 2 year old son went in for an ekg and his results came back eith RBBB and high blood pressure. Thanks for your video! It really helped me understand whats going on.
Once again, you made this so much easier to understand. Bundle Branch blocks for some reason are very complex for me and I take more time than others before it finally sinks in. Thanks to your unique teaching methods, I can refresh myself on almost any subject at a faster rate and you also make it easier to remember. I fancy the way you go back through everything and express things clearly and concise. Because of these videos, it's like having your own personal instructor on hand when I find myself getting a bit cloudy, simply put. Please accept my gratitude and compliments on helping me as well as many others. Having you as an instructor in school would have been a god send. Cheers again and kind regards. Jason T. Kansas City.
Hello Jason :) Thank you so much for your kind words. I really appreciate you taking the time to watch my videos. I know you have watched many of them and have left me such amazing comment on them. THANK YOU very much for that. Bundle branch blocks gave me a time when I first started learning them but then they finally clicked, so I know what you mean. Again, thank you for the kind comment and for your viewership!
Nurse Sara. You are so very welcome. I appreciate the time you took once again to respond to my comment. I wish you had time for questions as well but your videos speak for themselves, and I am still getting started on a majority of them. So far, all is well with understanding your methodology of teaching but, that is no surprise as I have found these tutorials to be invaluable. I will keep watching and lave more comments. Thank you again for all you do.
Have a similar background as you, doing 3 yrs stress testing/anticoag in cards clinic. Currently in cardiac tele. Your ekg videos are basically what i also cover when teaching new grads. Well done.
Hello Tara :) THANK YOU so much for your kind words. I'm honored you like my teaching style and that you can easily learn from my videos. Thank you for taking the time to watch my videos. I appreciate it!
Thanks a lot Sarah. I am new to cardiac nursing. I am not confident at interpreting ECGs. Your teaching method is excellent, and even a dumb head like me can tell different types of heart blocks and RBBB/LBBB.
Thank you so much for your helpful videos they are so easy to understand and so much fun!!! I just passed my Cardiac Monitor Certification with your instructional videos :)
+Guillermo Lopez Pagan You're very welcome! Congrats on passing your Cardiac Monitor Certification...that is an awesome accomplishment :) I feel honored I could help you with my videos. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment!
Very awesome! I'm so happy I could help you out :) I wish you the best in obtaining your M.B.B.S. and wish you much success in your career. Thank you for taking the time to watch this video and for leaving a comment.
hey! thank you so much for this video ive learned a lot of things now im so confident in interpreting ecg strips accurately..more videos to come!! salamat!
Thank you! I had such a hard time understanding BBBs at school (I am new cardiographic technician) and this really helped, just like a bunch of your other videos!
you are excellent i didnt watch this one but the others about pr interval and qrs complex,it was the best way to understand,am sure even this one is good
Thank you for the excellent explanation. You are a brilliant teacher who really loves to teach. All your videos are amazing. Keep up the splendid work.
At the end, in the lateral leads, what are you considering slurred and wide for the S wave? To me they all look narrow, small, and sharp. And, are you counting the QRS complex to the j point or beyond... It looks like you are counting beyond that?
+Kimberly Marine Thanks for watching my video, Kimberly. In lead I, they are slurred (slanting and slightly long) but in aVL, V5, V6 they are very slightly (you really have to be able to count it in person...probably hard for you to see in the video) but you get a better view in lead I. Thanks for your question. Best wishes in your studies!
Thanks for watching the video! I currently don't have a video on LBBB but plan on one in the future. Here are all the videos I have on EKGs at the moment: th-cam.com/play/PLQrdx7rRsKfU-A9UTclI0tOYrNJ1N5SNt.html
Thank you for all of your work!! Every time my hubby comes home he says, "oh, it's Sara again! LOL" I guess I have been spending a lot of time watching your videos. Thanks again.
Sara, I am so into your teachings. You present so well and are very knowledgeable and personable. I am working on my RMA with EKG and Phlebotomy. I was having a bad time with the EKG but your videos are helpful. I have my second test tonight and whereas I am not stressing it as much; I am appreciative of the time you have taken to provide tutoring. You ROCK!
Hello Kevin :) Thank you for the very kind comment. It really meant a lot to me to read it. I'm so glad my videos can help you, and I wish you the best on your test tonight. I hope you ace it. Thank you again for the comment, and best wishes in your studies!
Hi. I am currently finishing up my 1st semester of nursing school. Next semester I will be taking patho and pharm. Could you do a video on study tips for those classes?? I am really nervous about them as I heard both classes are very challenging. I just want to figure out a way to study smarter not harder. Thanks for all your videos!!
+A Pate Thank you so much for your comment! Yes, we are actually going to be making a series on how to study in specific classes in nursing school and we will be covering these classes. I will make sure we cover these classes first. Congrats on being in nursing school :) Thank you so much for watching our videos....much appreciated! -Sarah
+A Pate I just wanted to let you know I've uploaded a video on How to Study for Pharmacology in nursing school. You can view it here: th-cam.com/video/KGCxR_a9694/w-d-xo.html More videos are to follow. I hope that helps you out :) -Sarah
a nice and informative video. . I like it. . you can also add degenerative disease and CHF to the causes. . sorry I wrote the same comment on your other video. . but I meant this one ..
Thank you so much! I appreciate you taking the time to watch many of my videos! Yes, you are indeed correct! Thank you very much for adding this...I know others will benefit from it as well.
HI Sarah, so I've been looking all over, and my instructors couldn't answer me, and nobody seems to know, but why do you have to push lasix so slow? I know it can cause arrhythmia and deafness but what physiologically happens?
Hi Parker! Yes, you are right about the arrhythmias and deafness. I'm not 100% sure but there are some great sources online. This research article discusses the ototoxticity with Lasix www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7042998 and this article on Wikipedia talks about ototoxicity with Lasix under the loop diuretic part: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ototoxicity I hope that helps further your research.
Hello Ashley :) I definitely plan on covering this topic in the near future. Here are all my current EKG videos: th-cam.com/play/PLQrdx7rRsKfU-A9UTclI0tOYrNJ1N5SNt.html
Hi Sarah! Thank you for your videos! I learned so much, I'll be taking the NCLEX soon and these really helped me. I am trying to find the LBBB, can you tell which video is it included? Thank you again! More power to you

I just turned 30 and was told I have RBBB...I'm researching exactly what I'm up against. Sorry to hear that! I also suffer from anxiety...I hope you found peace and closer on it.
+MercRN You're very welcome! I'm glad I could help you understand RBBBs better. I know they can be so confusing. I hope to get a video out on LBBB in the future. Thanks for your comment and I hope all is going well with you :) -Sarah

I was diagnosed with a RBBB. Three weeks later I had a SCA.
The CRBBB is serious heart condition?
@RegisteredNurseRN Can you do a video on left bundle branch blocks?
What Is The Test When You Go Up The Arm To The Heart. What Is The Name Of That Test?
Is it is a heart cath?
It is a coronary angiography, radial approach.
