Hi there, awesome work but how did you actually reconfigure the U-BMS to your battery configuration, please? According to the U-BMS manual you need to set certain parameters (slave/standalone mode, how many batteries you have, serial and parallel config like 2S2P etc) to work correctly without a Module Lost alarm or else.
There are some software experts that helped me through it. It's not something anybody should bother with. Too much work. Just get a JK BMS. There are some cases where the factory BMS is still a good idea. Especially for high voltage safety disconnect reasons but there's a lot of aspects to consider. For the people who it's still a good idea to use the factory BMS system I build and sell these. Building these yourself it's not a good idea, there's just too much work involved to figure it all out.
