  • In this video, I show you how to configure your DWIN display to display data on a dial indicator or use them as a knob for inputting values. I also show you how to set up a simple Arduino code to send and receive the values using these indicators through the serial port.
These dial indicators can display values in a nice, easy-to-read way.

Thanks much! I’ll keep trying my best! The project isn’t of my own 100% concern either so it helps to know it’s on your list!

Hey there! I was wondering if you could make a video that uses a menu with multiple basic touch modules the change the colors of a neopixel led strip? It would help me so much to have a rundown of that so I can expand it to my projext

Hi! Sure, if you sponsor my efforts, I could make such a video.

I am sorry, but I do not have the resources (time, mainly) to fulfil video requests for free. I noted down your idea and might implement it in the future, but it is not a high priority for me. Keep following my channel and some day it might pop up. Cheers!

I'm interesting your videos about DWIN. May you make video demo for draw charts data real time from sensor?

Hi! I will make a video on that topic soon, but it is not on my priority list. I have quite a large list of planned videos on DWIN displays.
Subscribe to my channel, and you'll see when I upload a relevant video for you. Cheers!

Would this display be more suitable that the SSD1306 in terms of displaying live feedback from the stepper motor while controllingit with the joystick? While controlling my stepper motor with the potentiometer joystick, the SSD1306 causes there to be a stutter.

I honestly don't know, but I would assume that since this display deals with serial communication, it might be a better choice. However, it is a more expensive choice. Also, the stuttering can be due to inefficient coding as well. You might want to revise your code to see if there's any conflict between updating the display and moving the motor.

@@CuriousScientist it's definitely due to the display interfering with the motors movement. But I'm not sure how to eliminate that if I need the display to update at the same time as the motor being controlled. I'm using the arduino uno r4 wifi. Thanks for the feedback!

You can pulse the motor with a timer while you use the CPU to print on the display. This approach could work. What is often a problem is that if you use the cpu to toggle the motor driver, the time between two toggles might be shorter than the time to, for example, perform a display update. This could throw off the whole thing.

@@CuriousScientist this makes since, I'll try the timer and see if that solves it. I am going to try it with the dwin display as well since it's alot better looking and gives better options to go along with it.

i am using stm32 to send data to dwin dgus display i have created a data variable display on dgus but whenever i send the data it skips data . what to do ?

I don't know. Without seeing what you've done, it is impossible to troubleshoot the issue.
