    Watching all those animals together reminded me of a children's book. I half expected them to start talking to each other. 🙂

    Amazing video, what a treat to get that close to the Fox. Seeing the Tawny Owl was great too, I'd love to spot one snoozing on a branch of a gnarly old oak while I walk through the woods. Thanks for sharing Steve, your videos never fail to inspire

    That was far out steve. There was plenty of wildlife out during the night. I was expecting the fox to twig on far sooner. Good going - nice bit of nettle tea also. Mark

      @craftywildcamps  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was lucky with the wind with that fox. It's surprising how more the animals move around during the cover of darkness. Farmland is best for the scope, bad in woodland. Cheers, Steve.

      @@craftywildcamps That explains it then steve. I did wonder about the fox - they're all nose. Great night out.....have a great week.

    Some stunning shots, your Dr Dolittle reputation didn't suffer any calling that fox over to 2m that's for certain, excellent :)

    • @craftywildcamps
      @craftywildcamps  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The wind was in my favour. It was a strange experience as it was pitch black and couldn't see anything without the scope. Steve

    Nice job calling in the fox! A lot to see once you can penetrate the darkness, especially in that environment of farm fields with fence lines bordering woodlands. I even got out myself today to confirm our forests are mostly free of snow. Spotted some redhorse suckers running up a stream, so spring is truly here.

    • @craftywildcamps
      @craftywildcamps  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, I've gone off music. I had a lot of wind noise on this one, so recorded the birds when it was quiet and over layered it while editing it, I hope it sounded natural. Thanks for watching. Steve.
