Love from Aimol, Chiru, Kharam, Koireng, Kom and Purum tribes of Manipur. We too call "Rosem". It is suggestable that the younger generation may learn from pu Thanga Darlong that he treasured everything about Darlong before he leaves us. Thanks.
The tribes like aimol koireng and purum identify as naga but have closer language with mizo kuki chin groups lol
Chiru, Aimol, Kom, Koireng, Kharam, Purum, call us Rem Phung🍻 or you may call it "Clans of Rem". Thank you😁
The Biates of Assam n Meghalya also call it as Rosem, but nowadays such traditional musical instruments are a thing of the past. anyway your v8deio is very informative. Darlong dialect is also close resemblances to our Biate dialect. love from Haflong, Assam.

Chiru Language is not so close with the standard Hmar tawng which we called Khawsak tawng....however, Chiru is very close with some dialects of Hmar like Thiek and Faihriem/Saihriem.
Darlong tribe langauge is a mixture of Lusei and Hmar. Even those clan under Darlong are a mixture of Hmar and Lusei Clans.
Halam,Darlong chin kuki zomi mizo all are one, polite and humble.
We love our brethern living in Tripura,and they are peace loving nations.

At present we call and identify ourselves as Chin-Kuki-Mizo but in reality we are Zo people and these words Chin, Kuki and Mizo are just a made up word by us and also the name that other communities have given to us. All of us Chin-Kuki-Mizo should identify ourselves as Zo as we all know that we are the descendants of Zo people aka Zo hnam. If we identify ourselves as Zo, I think we might all feel much more connected than ever as when we identify ourselves as Zo we can know that we are all the descendants of Zo people.
